That will not be closed anytime soon. Gaps dont NEED to be closed, this just doesnt work. Eventually they are closed by random chance, yes, but thats not because the gap needed to be closed. I have 1M data for GBPUSD from 1989 to now, free of holes, there is a weekend gap that happened in 1989 that was just "closed" during Brexit Not sure if you want to wait another 30 years for this gap to close in the worst case and then say "see, that was a typical gap closure" LOL

As I said already, historically it´s a 50% chance that a gap closes - with closing I mean that the movement that closes it was really related to it - so within ~1 week. There is no historical edge nor advantage in trying to close gaps in Forex as a strategy. It works with some 60% for EU stocks though!

Damn, that's big post i think this one gap will close. Reason is they - TRB (Thieving Robber Banks) herewith referred as RB, sometimes open a gap for their benefit, not because of market or political events. As far as I judge it there is nothing pushing south. There was China market, devaluation, , correction and something else to go UP. As to 50% statistics, I think that it's higher man. My experience. Can you look ONLY 3-4 years back ?

My Early Hours Opinions

- high volatility, high liquidity, watch your working range(!);
- unusual the Weekly and Daily Pivots has the same value today;
- resistance: 1.1111 M-mid (also the Fibo61.8 of the huge drop), 1.1141 Daily-Weekly_PP;
- support: 1.0998 Daily-Weekly-mid already working, 1.0943 MS1, 1.0855 Daily-Weekly_S1;
- on H1 if EU rise, don't miss the Head-and-Shoulders after the second shoulder took shape;
- not too much probability to close perfectly the w-end gap;
- all predictions probably linked to the Central Banks and UK Gov.

Defend your (real) accounts in this post-brexit turmoil, ...you all!

Euro have showed the short dynamic. Balance is short and will better play just short. I'm waiting the rollback and after that will go in.

I can see rejections on 15m, 30m, and 1hr chart on this price range. These inverted hammers are supported by high tick volume as well above 1.1050. We also have a false breakout on the same price range. If this breakout is genuine we should see a higher volume on candle 1. I believe this is a good time to short. Of course we cannot eliminate the possibility of price going up so mange your risk.

EU selling , target is 1.0910. Far away though.
I could get little stress free if it breaks 980 zone. But until that its risky to hold sell trade.
