Thanks Bauta, I also changed the reset daily to true. I think false was the default or I didn't realize I set it to false.

I do like resetDaily=false because it will try to target missing days first. ResetDaily=true will start form zero every day, resetDaily=false will start from the last targeted day.

Thanks MikeUK, I want to see all of us succeed. Especially Bauta for all his effort. I will give suggestions because I'm not an expert like Bauta but I'm pleased u liked my idea.

OK, let me explain. using mt4 as a group or as a basket, allow me to slow down and pause trading easily, allow me to remove exposure to events easily. Doing targets or closure mode by instruments does not guaranty the terminal in general will be at less exposure during events or big market moves.

for now, I do recommend you all to use this EA as a basket of symbols and chart setups all together, when one chart is at level 12, the others are at level 2 or 3 doing money for us. when all of them together target, DayTarget will slow down trading I will start closing positions as soon they hit breakeven levels.

Once again, the idea is good, bud it is more important now to control drawdowns than trying to get more profit.
I did comment my code with your idea then I will not forget it on the future.

Note that my setup, is performing well in live account after the change I did on this post. we should let it play more time to be sure it performs best. it is one more way to control risk. I get salvage by this M1 fractal four times already. (note M1 fractal is a build in feature)
now we are controlling DD with DynamicGrid=true, BreakEvenLevel=5, M1 fractal after level 3 and DayTarget news events. We are controlling exposure with DayTarget 1% Closure_Forced method.
I am using defaults values for all parameters, except I did set s_GridFactor=6

Well said Bauta, and I completely understand because DD is a concern to be taken seriously. I will always have ideas and suggestions so perhaps they will be useful for future projects if not this one. Good luck and keep up the great work!

Why the mChannel don't place a sell order (level 5)?
I made a simulation a 1M account.

note your settings are multi styles, there are not just channel. When you use multi styles the EA may close orders all at once.
to troubleshooting better, use only channel mode and sent to [email protected] the expert log files.

I made a 2nd test and the scrip made a sell position (5 level). I don't understand why the sell position on the 1st test don't open.

I want to make sure we're on the same page here. So, if the losses outweigh the Daytarget price ALL open EA's will be closed when target is hit and you may still end up with a loss even though target was hit. Is that right?

why not force close a position after 3 hours in close_mode?
If news is coming and you want a potentially affected pair closed, why run the risk of leaving it on when close_mode hasn't been successful ? Should be easy setting right?
Try for three hours, then force quit.
Should really help with DD.

Route206, I think the default is set to 180min close when news is about to happen which could change your losing/lagging position if news is in your favor. My question is more like....if you are, let's say 50 cent from hitting target with 3 pairs but other 6 pairs are in the negative; is the loss of the losing 6 pairs included which would make your overall "win"/target a loss?

I am merely saying that an option to force a close a position after three hours of trying would be a handy feature.
And yes: it could imply 50 Cent loss over $200 loss, but that is them 'all in the game' as they say

I'm still learning the game myself my friend. The more I learn the more I think I can win. I also failed to mention that I am trying new strategies with combination along with EG104. But like i said in other posts this Daytarget is brilliant IMO. Oh, and one more thing, maybe Bauta I should ask, but I don't see "Disabled" with EA's outside EG104 when target is hit. Is that normal?

EG104 does not uses stop loses, any kind (money, level, time, account percent, etc). EG104 is a grid system that needs to close its cycles using its build in algorithms.
Any stop loss will make the EA to fail. I did try it before and the EA failed.
I know may be time consuming but if you go through this thread you may find many intents on the past explained here.
Last reverse, neutralization, stop accumulating occurred the last Monday 13 in my demo account. Note how it loses money and the system is getting not enough money errors. Altering the normal process of EG104 created that problem. The demo is losing.
I do recommend to capitalize the account and go slow, 1% or less profit per day. If you are looking for a get rich EA, please do not use this EA. you will lose all your money.
I will keep your ideas on a testing environment, if I do find better results, I will post here.

Sorry Bauta, and Route206, my words don't always come out the way I meant them to. Allow me to clarify. If I'm fifty cents away from hitting target and my target hits yet I have 6 pairs in loss...does the loss of the losing pairs affect my overall daytarget win? Or am I simply winning and losing at same time until other pairs close which I can't tell because "disable" doesn't show up? Now I don't even know what the hell I'm saying. LOL. Maybe I'll try to explain next week unless I've made sense to someone. Take care.

DayTarget can be use on any EA but Closure mode integration will be on EG104 only. For other EAs you will need to use Forced_Mode only and stop the other EA manually.
Other EA, none EG104, may open orders and DayTarget may close them creating undesired effect. I do recommend you program other EAs to check dclosure and nclosure variables before opening new positions.
