Check the Experts and Journal Tabs on your terminal.

See if there is any errors.

Failing this, look in your log folder for the file with today's date and see if anything in there looks goofy.

No faults found anywhere, all says good to go on all 4 brokers I tried it on. Took ovo renko back to older version on one broker and will see if it opens any trades.

well, 1 broker finally opened a trade on GBP/CAD, none of the others have that pair, will see if more follow. I wonder if its because I updated the renko and all logic restarted. Head scratcher for sure.

The triggering is based on moving averages as well as Stochastics.

Depending on your brick size, it would need to recalculate all values, (by changing software)

If there aren't a minimum of 1440 bars on the chart, there would already be inaccuracies created.

OVO is fucking awesome, but can only provide the history that you allow.

If there is a trade and no errors, I would imagine that it's a matter of allowing the EA to trigger based on ranges.

Brick size is 30 points or 3 pips. The 2 that do not have any trades now are only running 4 pairs (cherry picked best performance) each as a test, the 28 pair now has a lot of trades. I contacted ovo and was told it does not inform other indicators and experts when changes are made so I restarted everything.

Always a good bet to restart.

I've had a couple of issues only refreshing EAs when running in live environment.

Thank you for the support Magix!!! This is an interesting EA, kind of fun.Sorry tradersway and oanda will not work with a TE but I could post results from their runs if you want. Was thinking of getting a new account with each to see if that would solve the issue with running a TE of them.

Better for us to work this out together so that others can use the previous posts for reference than have it just not working or understood.

Tradersway and Oanda can't be used on TE's?

Both of them show up on the TE list, and I am sure I used to run an account from Oanda on a TE.

I did not write down the password to the Oanda account when I created it.Since I encountered trouble with traders way the TE says can't reach broker, but my auto login still works - not sure whats up with that but it was just a demo not attached to a live account so was not to worried about it.

There is a mail tab on the terminal.

Click on that and you should find your login information.

Every time you open a new demo, there should be a new email.

looking at your thread TE, I see several longs on GJ open, I don't have any open...is that OK?

On 28 Demo I encounter Error 148 > Max Open Positions (ERR_TRADE_TOO_MANY_ORDERS). Broker Pepperstone Demo I believe max open is 80 or 100. Trouble is now that recoveries are not going by the way of the logic total DD = - 1500 at this moment
Anyway that's why testing is so important people. Going to check Max Open Positions on Edge Razor account (LIve) restrictions with them.

7 Live > It looks like it is not listening to 'Restrict trading hours' it opened new orders and also it looks like it is not adding orders to the logic while it is outside Trading hours (Close orders using normal logic) ??!
[EDIT] So I set Restrict trading hours on FALSE and after a while it is placing another BUY(x2) again in the logic (not present in this printscreen).
Am i overlooking something or not patient enough ? Usually it already place a new BUY iI guess.

P.s Magix, you also worked on it like you said ? or was that on another level for time settings. I do not trust Restrict trading hours feature at this moment. But it is hard to make clear what is wrong.

Dragon went into a free fall of sorts after the initiation of some long trades on my terminal(s).

400 pip move to downside that not even the Drag the Dead could save...fortunately and unfortunately...there's still a StopLoss in place.

Figured it'd be a bit of a rough week...

Yes....working with 28 pairs and especially if it is running without restrictions can hit the too many trades and straight up stop trading...
On earlier versions, privately tested, I worked without the wussy close and by setting the SL to account size...when the max orders gets hit, it just flounders around in loss.

The 2 ideas were added to the mix to help alleviate these issues and though we don't see trade perfection, appreciating that loss is a part of trading does allow for a bad day on some while the rest can continue to do what intended.

My trades on EURAUD, not looking terribly happy...but continue to trade.

The restrict trading hours has to be what caused the gap in chart. I can't see the clock on your terminal.
