Here's a little something to check out...

The 28 pairs I have running, as discussed previously, has a couple of currencies turned off due to news.

It's holding 1 shitty trade on EURJPY, but as for the rest, here's the gains on the day and the current draw down.

Compare this to the thread version, without turning off news...

$11 draw vs $211...

I can confirm that SL is working like a charmWrong set file .. SL was ridiculous enough on 200... on GBPJPY ..
This joke takes me 2 days trading to recover that loss. But still with confidence, only two days. Check check double check

Wasn't pretty...but it was effective.

All trades closed before they ended up in a Roll Over fee and now...it waits.

Yup...been there before...

Take some time over the weekend, delete all old templates on your main terminal...keep only the shit you need and it helps make things easy.

Something that would be a really nice addition would be the ability to shutdown all charts when a profit target is reached for the day. So for example if we set 5% then it would take us out using one of your two methods.
So either trade the final trades out following your logic but not opening any new cycles (So you would end more then likely more then your target this way) or you can set it to just close all up all trades immediately.
Take a look at Bauta's, idea in Expanding Grid. He uses a separate EA which puts out a Global variable at target and also monitors the news, which then is monitored by each chart. So they can be centrally controlled. Quite liked his idea there.
Just a thought, this way you can set your targets for the day and not let greed and emotions get the better of you.

Thanks again Magix, this is a great system. I think we will all make money from this, if we just give it time and learn how to control it better.

I'm quite liking the new additions to the code, even though it may not have been entirely my idea...


28 pairs is the gain winner today and this with a number of pairs being turned off and an EJ trade that was taken end of day yesterday, but wasn't set to be one of the pairs trading today.

This trade cost the over all profit of about $7.50 and yeah, it could have been closed down a lot sooner, but this is testing...might well see how shit turns out.

There will definitely be some ass kickery with the combined logics.

If luck can be loosely translated as when opportunity meets with proper preparation...we may about to get very lucky!

One of the really kewl things about the New Daily Close Logic...

If you come across one of those days when the market just isn't playing nice, the retrace has been suitable enough for your liking but logic hasn't been satisfied, you can close out all the trades on the pair, really fucking EASY like.

Simply set:
Trade on (Current Day) = False
Closing Method outside of trade days/hours = Close all orders immediately

And

SHAZAM!

It will empty all the trades that were taken under the same Magic Number

Exactly what i was thinking Magix. Pretty tough week for my Live which started so good but I was to much in between when i look back on 6 days of using this EA now.
Learned a lot about the logic to just let it run now..
So back on track cleaned the shit indeed.. and 100% consistent from now on. Maybe skipping some of the 7 pairs.. Or raise the f c k g balance

Having an adequate balance definitely helps keep the pressure off...but it can still be hard ignore a DD in the hundreds if you have any experience with Increased Size Lot cost averaging.

The reason that I keep at least one thread version running for a while is to try and show that even if we do take a hit, it's just a matter of time before we can bring the bad back around.

2 weeks ago, when I started the first licensed version of Iresh, the multiplier logic wasn't engaging causing a bit of a Draw on the account...it's continued to churn profit consistently, since.

The thread version, dropped $1000 and with exception of the current draw on open trades, has brought itself back to even open on account size throughout this week.

Pace is ace and it's slow n steady that wins the race...

Take some time and get comfortable with the trade cycles, even if just in a demo environment...play safe with your real cash. There's going to be a lot of time to make some real money with this mother going forward.

While the week is still open and you can see your broker time and compare it to your own clock...

You can take and set up the next market week...

Given that right now, your broker is on Friday...you can set your trading days for next week, closing down the news days by comparing the days/time to the FF calendar, (With exception of Next Friday)

If you choose to set the start and stop time...make sure that:
Restrict Trading Hours = True.

If you'd simply prefer to sit out those days, just set:
Trade on (Day of week) (broker's server time) = false.

And then...
Select the method outside of trading days/hours.
This will be a "You" decision...do you want to gamble on whether a single or multiple trades will close immediately, maybe in loss...or Close orders using normal logic and see if these will either reduce the loss size or perhaps end up in profit?

Just as a little followup...

Here's how the CADCHF trades turned out.

Having been set to not trade Thursday or Friday and having been set to Close orders using normal logic...

Could have turned out a lot worse...but really happy in that even when we opt out of market and just allow logic to close on its own, it still works to find suitable exits.

After closing these trades...it hasn't traded since.

All logic working as it should!

Though it hasn't traded the 28 pairs all week...Yeah, I was a little slow in getting this all going...

If you are interested in checking out the stats, I've created a myfxbook for the account.

Next week, I will most likely re-start the trial so that we have an even foot race on all pairs. I will still be setting days to trade, but if this is applied evenly with all pairs and High Impact News, we should still get a reasonable test for forward running over the course of time.
