I managed to trade about 80 pips of this move and I am pleased enough. I've closed my long position for now and I think I am done for the day.

sell at 1,1290

1.1295 looked as important level. To see doji or similar would be nice...

You're right, but you should've waited for the market to accept the resistance and stop the longs. That did not happen and the lines are not really viable anymore at the moment. If you want to scalp shorts wait for a bounce at next resistances. For longs it's too late right now imo.

no it was towards those people who are so biased and failed to read a simple chart... then saying I don't make money and I'm wrong and whatever else

ive been in that position, id rather be direct than dance around it... it sticks, people remember the twat from EU thread who said this and that. it was a simple chart read and the news added to the fuel on the fire

TBH if you're saying this move is because of any technicals you don't understand trading.
Everything what happened today was just the expectation from nfp and other labour data.
NFP around 160k is not good and market already priced in the "bad" nfp news earlier - so there wouldnt be a big move if number was there.
NFP lower ~135k would be considered very bad and unexpected bad which will sell the dollar like hell, with eyes on a prob. rate hike of the fed in near future.
NFP higher 180k would be considered unexpected good because of the strike ect. and EUR/USD would be sent to the ground because it would mostly secure a rate hike in June/July.

Very simple to understand the moves, but ofc hard to trade because you don't know the number. You have to trade the possibilities and chances and they were good for a buy today. But definitely not chart related

I was trading it regardless of NFP... if NFP came out better than expected then what? what about if it was worse than last months?
I don't know what else can be done to show it... I post my trades before I take them and yet that's not enough... so I post charts and that's still not enough? that is something that I don't understand

and at no point at all did I say this was because of technical, they were point up anyway, the news boosted the time that's all, I was long regardless and would have been long regardless.

I don't pay much attention to the news, if it came out bad then so what I lost, move on plenty of ops again

It is time for a big short.

Unemployment rate is 4.7 %. Even small children know that it is not possible to create new jobs without available labor force. I think that Ms Yellen knows it too.

Well I got the cyclical move up, just not the improvement in the risk profile prior... I wasn't going to be in this either way as my focus is over on the setup developing in the AUDNZD. Was a pretty sweet move in the EU though.
