It always goes both ways...even for going down, people have to load the shorts somewhere...which bank would sell low, if they can sell higher? Retailers are selling the lows and buying the highs.

Institutions balancing their portfolios at the month end - quite often pushing it up into the 4 o/c fix.
Should be interesting to see what/if anything happens after 4pm.

I am also waiting for London fix in 40 mins and shortly after, to enter a short maybe. Or is London fix in 1 hour and 40 minutes? I am still confused with times after moving to EU.

London fix now in 37 minutes.
I've been short on EU since 1181, last week - should have taken it at 1100 but thought it was going down to 10xx.
Ah well, we live and learn (I hope!)

Thanks, man! Well, we should still see 1130-40, even if it goes above 1180 today, not sure about a double bottom below 1100 now. But price might load up before ECB and NFP on thursday-friday and then crash down towards 1030, who knows. I will rather quit trading late wednesday, before the madness starts on thursday.


1030 would be a nice long looking at the monthly chart. For 500-600 pips. Just speculating here, lets see if we go there after ECB and NFP. Or before...

My SL is at b/e which means I'm perilously close at the moment but I'm working on it not closing above the 61.8 Fib at 1171 before 4pm and then it coming back down towards that 1130 support

My Short TP is at 1005 but I'd more than happily take 1030 if it stuck its nose out!

If London fix doesn't break 1150(close safely below)...might be a good area for some small longs into today's late session or tomorrow asia...20 pips or more if today's high breaks.

EDIT: Short scalpers got their 1130 area re-tested. If it holds, it might go back above 1150.
