This is my job. I pay myself just fine. But the institutional guys get paid to watch screens and make only prime trades, so they dont have the same need or fire to be in a trade to earn money to feed themselves or keep a roof over their head. They are earning regardless. Unless they just blow then they will not be earning shit after a few months of that.

Trading solo is a very isolating thing. Its you and your computer. You live and die by it. And while that is very liberating it is a big mental game at the same time to not over trade and not revenge trade and to only trade what you consider to be the prime trade even after watching a few could be trades turn into monsters and your prime trade turn into a loser. Its not easy to do that when you dont have an institution supplementing income.

but if you are good, then you don't need to be trading constantly to make more than enough money, who wants to be in this to make an income? who wants to be in this make a fortune?

I agree you dont need to trade constantly. But when its all you do to earn your mind will tell you other wise. And when you have a loser the hardest thing to do is to not trade to try and make back what you lost.
I dont think anyone that trades any instrument is doing it because they want to be comfortable. They are doing it because they want "IT". Whatever they consider "IT" to be. They strive for wealth

Trading lately became very boring for me. Always same patterns/situations only outcomes are different.

The past 2 weeks have been pretty strange as far as how i like to trade. So ive cut it back alot. GU i cant seem to find solid direction on and its my favorite currency to trade. True.And you must be ready to lose a lot of money using real accounts.I have tried many times using demo accounts,but only real accounts only can give better results. You just need to start with micro accounts till you feel confident.

It took me 3 years to consistently being in profit, but it doesn't have to be that hard.
I'm just very stubborn and that's why it took me longer than necessary.

3 years wow well done! Many people suggest to live in a cheap country to have a proper lifestyle if they are full time online traders.However I think it's all depends how much money you invest and how much profit you can make..

I loved stocks in 2008, I bought Citibank for $1 and sold for $4, Bank of America, bought for $4 and sold for $16, General Electric, ADP and other Fortune 500 companies. Oh lets not forget Google for $275 after it came down from $650 and I sold it for over $1,000.
It was a wild time back then, I made my profits, but not going into anything right now.
