AUD/NZD @1.0700

Good bounce of that strong support zone at 1.0620-50 area
No data fundamental impact so this purely is a technical rebound from the shorts.

Nothing major from Australia stats this week but NZ has trade balance tomorrow and annual budget Thursday.

1.0650-1.0750 probably covers it for awhile unless a major upset on the fundamentals occurs.

Long TL obviously those levels are fluid but a good bounce there. Betting on second retest now 1.0620 one to watch, upside seems limited.

AUD/NZD 1.0640

NZ Trade numbers came out very positive as the NZ economy seems to be bubbling along.

Many have been hoping that the dairy pricing may weigh heavily on the NZ economy but it was the other agricultural exports that came through.

This may start a re- think by the AUD/NZD bulls ..

1.0620-50 is strong support zone .

Everyday there is fundamental data to suggest it is beginning to crack .

The market I think is positioned long so I think momentum on the downside will see an avalanche of stop selling

AUD/NZD 1.0700

Confused as to why this cross isn't lower ? Well so am I.

NZ Finance Minister English says New Zealand's economy doesn't need stimulating.

And after this statement even more so.

I see the interest rate differential widening as Australia will need to cut once more possibly twice.

AUD/NZD @1.0625

Finally sanity prevails and we are starting to see signs of a weakness in this cross as fundamentals outweigh the stargazers

We have some AUD numbers out today retail sales and trade balance.
Anything bad may force this cross in breaking the support zone.

Just got a long signal in the pair. I'm not ready to hop into this just yet as the AUD Index is still very strong overall, but we could have something brewing as we head into next week.

We did get a little improvement last night in the current setup, but I'm still not crazy about the AUD Index strength right now, would really like to see the index cycle lower and be a little more in gear with the pair. Will see what next week brings.

Opened first Long on AUDNZD @ 1.057. Very very low leverage, and whilst the knife may be falling, we have RBA and RBNZ next week. Its in a support zone here, and yes, it could drop to 1.04 easily, maybe even 1.02, but i'll add another position if we do. I can see this go back to 1.13 - 1.15 eventually. This is a swing trade, it can sit there.

I'm part of the 7% and I'm waiting for a retest of the April 2nd 2015 low. The the RBNZ will probably intervene around there (Australia trade partner-New Zealand exporters..)

We did see some bullish price action last night in the pair and as such the long entry signal has come off the table. Currently sitting at R1 which I would guess will just about cap the price action for the balance of the US session.

AUD/NZD @1.0665

Big bounce overnight which has whipped both the bears and the bulls over the past couple of days of trading.

Fundamentally nothing has changed and I put that down to a thin market triggering S/L's

This week both RBA and RBNZ have rate decisions so expect more volatility on this pair.
