Expert is typing DISABLED when Flat on Friday activated . There is not problem. This is a feature of EG104 , closing all position is good for us when we are going to weekend. Regards.

Can somebody provide me several questions? I know most of them appear on this topic, but I want ask for sure.

1. Firstly - what is the most secure strategy and setups for using this grid? Let's say I want make 1-3 % of my capital daily without big drowdown - it is possible?
2. Do this EA has any huge movments/black swan protection?
3. Can I play with deposit on other currency than $ - let's say small countries (like polish PLN)
4. What is the diffrence between copy trades of bauta : https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/115196 and playing by myself?

I did replace OrderClose() by a revised OrderCloseReliableMKT() to be sure the order is handled correctly.
re-download on post one and give it a try one more time.

your settings are a bit aggressive, be sure to demo it and close all at 1% total profit. Eliminate exposure as more you can.
I do recommend to test/demo with Dynamic_Grid=true and dynamic percent = 15, and if you want to equilibrate it a bit, set Grid_Factor = 8. Compare the results and choose the best DD, not the best profit.
For Channel grid style and dynamic=true, the EG104 starts expanding the grid immediately, it is not like symmetry where expansion starts at level 4. In this case, when Dynamic is true, your first order is at grid factor 8, your second is at grid factor 6.8, the third one will be at 5.8, the fourth at 4.9, the other at 4.2, etc,
Note that reducing grid factor, you increase grid distance in pips.
this setting is like sExpandGrid with the difference that the expansion is at 15%. (parameter you may modify)
I will test it too.

1.- I do recommend using defaults and go for 0.5 to 1% daily. More than that will stress up the EA. (note akkus is working on a setup may work better. follow it on the forum)
2.- The EA becomes closure mode by the level 5 by default and try to break even the cycle, but it does not stops averaging positions. I do recommend using DayTarget with it to help a bit with DD. The only way to get out of trouble is with more capital, reason I do recommend no to use all your capital, always keep a reserve for emergencies. The stop loss is the margin call.
to calculate needed capital just multiply startLotQty per contract size per 3 and reserve one or two for emergencies.
example1: 0.01 x 100,000 x 3 = 3,000 (need per pair), reserve one 3K then you will need 6K to trade standard lot.
example2: 0.10 x 1,000 x 3 = 300 (needed per pair) + one or two reserved you need 600 to trade one micro lot (cent account)
3.- Yes, any currency is allowed, just calculate your needed capital with your converting to your currency.
4.- latency, spread and slippage. The EG104 EA adapts itself to the conditions of your broker, if you copy trades, you are coping my conditions, not yours, then results may be different. You can give it a try.

Hello Bauto,

Thank you for sharing your idea and EA here. I just came across to this thread by recommendation and found it interesting but when i i was cheeking your 3 demo accounts seams EG104 account doesn't perform well these days. what happened to it and what did you learn from it? Seams Symmetric doing better now, what is your recommendation for it?

Sorry Bauta . I can not understand what is the problem. expert does not make this mistake with 0.01 lot .

I use strategy tester with $200-10,000 and still says "Not enough money". I thought the hedge on/off feature would make things better but it is worse. Lots are .01 and even tried grid pips 0-4 with dynamic off. I tried Every combination but still "Not enough money" after 3 winning small trades. I even included channel to the mix. Same result..."Not enough" with even 10k. My acccount is 1:10 but even if I had 10k to trade I'd expect to win at least 60%, wouldn't u agree? I dont know what else to do. I even cut off the news.

You need way more than 1:10 leverage... With 1:10 leverage, you need $113 to keep a .01 lot position open. Multiply $113 by your lot sizes excluding the decimal, plus each additive position, and you hit margin call pretty damn quick.

OK, I get ur point. But in tester with ten grand I get the same result. I don't want to buy that kind of leverage if it doesn't even work with ten grand in tester. What am I missing? What are ur settings so I may duplicate? Keep in mind I cannot hedge. Thank u.
