just put 2 sell limits near the top just in case it does it again

USDTRY is now the only chart in my carry basket that shows some potential.

Printed a nice lower trendline + a break and retest.
I will enter a trade on this pair after the new years.

We've finally broken above 3.0000, price used this level as a support on the lower TF's, I think that we'll see it bounce back off that level on the hourly. If 3.0000 truly becomes a support, we may very well see 4 or higher in 2016. The Lira is in trouble.

I was looking hard at this pair earlier...great minds and what not

Anyways...im not buying yet, but i will look to get in next week. I really like the fundamentals behind it and the break top side is def worth a few pips

I would be short EURTRY, and even USDTRY on M30 or a little higher but at an earlier price. I didn't want to shamelessly get into a sell now. But anyway, the buy on M15 fits my rules so I have to take it, for now anyway. As they say, trade what you see not what you think so that's what I'm doing. That buy is currently about 40 pips in profit. I might close it out before market close.

Hi raiders, yeah I'll look at this pair next week but the problem is, it would be chasing a sell at this point. I like to do limits and if I miss my limit then it's OK. Sometimes I shamelessly chase but I try to keep some dignity and not chase a trend too often.

The exotics seem so much easier to trade from what I've seen so far. I've been looking at CHFSGD, EURNOK, EURSGD, EURTRY, EURZAR, GBPTRY, USDCNH, USDMXN, USDNOK, USDSEK, USDSGD, USDTRY. If your broker has it, take a look at USDMXN. It's pretty good from what I can tell as far as not going crazy from USD high-impact news. It will have spikes but nothing too unreasonable.

Anyway, their spreads aren't too bad either and they are hell of a lock more 'predictable' than regular currency pairs.

I was looking at the peso this morning too lol

I want to drop the mother of all shorts on that thing but the damn spread is a killer if youre in it though im looking at 17 easy. maybe monday will give me something better to work with spread wise but as of right now...ouch

The only thing im holding right now is a eurgbp short that i think is good for a quick 60 or so pips. but im thinking of cutting bait on it and just waiting to see how sunday/monday goes
