Hello everyone,

I am opening here the thread of EXOTICS..

I am currently trading some exotics such as UsdTry, UsdZar.. and I will share my opinions and charts here about them and other exotics from time to time..

Everybody is welcome here to share his/her opinions regarding any exotic pairs..

Comments on UsdTry, UsdZar, UsdMxn, UsdCnh, UsdPln, UsdCzk, UsdHuf, UsdSek, UsdNok, UsdDkk, UsdBrl, UsdRub, UsdSgd, UsdThb, UsdInr, UsdILS, UsdKrw and other exotics are welcome..

Sharing local news which might affect currencies will be very appreciated..

Abusive and offensive language, hate speech and disturbing other members are not welcome..

Edit: comments on Crosses are also welcome and will be appreciated..

I don't usually do the exotics, but I heard that the ruble would tank after the US placed more sanctions on Russia, so I placed a micro lot on USDRUB long and am up 55 pips since Thursday night. I was lucky enough to catch that pop Friday afternoon! I also liked how the month chart looks. It is VERY smooth, unlike the more common pairs! I suspect there is a long way to go up!

Can you guys trade the Iranian Rial (IRR)? My broker does not.

Based on his recent statements and behavior, I'm betting Trump is wanting to cut a deal with Iran. If that happens? Yeah... catch that move up.

I think Iranian Rial is not tradable now..as far as i know, it is fixed a few months ago after its collapse against Usd..and gov has forbidden buy-sell of it in the market..now there are 2 prices..official prices that is declared by gov and market prices which is deemed illegal by gov..i ll share news later on..

I m not trading usdrub..but i just looked at charts..

Daily looks range but above 50, 100, 200 MAs..weekly looks bullish above MAs again..and monthly looks also bullish to me..if more and serious sanctions come, then we may go to 80s (now 63.31)..

But have no plan to trade this pair..daily, 4h, hourly predictability is more important for me..i m day trader..

Ok lets look at usdtry..our lovely pair..

First, i added longterm charts with MAs to understand main trend..later i will share similar charts with clear candlesticks..

Monthly, weekly looks quite bullish well above 50, 100 and 200 MAs..
Daily looks also quite bullish supported with 50 MAs below so far..
4h and 1h charts are also bullish..
So we can say safely that main trend is bullish..of course there will be some retracements..but i expect retracements will be limited considering political and economical problems..

Note:
Turquoise line is 50 MAs (moving average)
Orange line is 100 MAs
Green line is 200 MAs
