Thank you.

I took the same trade TSS. Also +50.

Nice to see i'm on the same track as you!

Reasons for my entry:

Price had been falling since daily open.

H4 showing bearish divergence.

H4 TDI dropping from 68 level and H4 stoch dropping from 80 level.

Price pulled back at LO then I entered as price continued down and broke yesterday low.

50 pip target was also influenced by the R61 level.

This pair was due to corrections, when trading LO or NYO sessions, sometimes when a move starts early in one session theres a good chance that it continued the way into next session , so this was not typical 1-2 candles entry after a change of color , u need to learn how the pair flows at one session or time of the day , I was not expecting a reversal based on MBL on H1

Nice Trade!

You waited for the 2nd candle after LO? Or entered during (1st candle) pullback?

Took this, currently at BE. Realized later that it was a news trigger. Riding my luck on this one. Testing R100, PA above yesterdays open/high.
Cheers

2nd H1 candle after LO. The one that closed below the previous day low.

Hope you managed to bag some green pips on your trade.

Ok. I see.

What do you mean by "This pair was due to corrections"? Are you saying, you are expecting it to have such a deep correction?

Thank you.

Omonisha it is nice to hear such a comment from you. Thanks.

I use ichimoku cloud for follow the trend and use the support and resistenca. I also add 50 and 200 ema. There seems lots of indicator however, I try to think simple. I trade above the cloud long, when stochastic turns from overbought area and tdi cross. Also try to think about support and resistence. For short trade vice versa.

I opened long position for AUDCAD below the ichi cloud because there were long lower wick 2-3 hours ago. The rejection was strong I thought and try to get quick pips. I am not able to stay profits a lot. I have to improve it.

Edit: I use stoch and ichimoku to be more conservative and not to overtrade. They are my break.

Do you look at higher time frame when trading H1? How do you use the PAC? I saw you took a trade from inside the PAC. You tried for quick pips ? By the look of your trades guess you were quick on every trades. Saw your EN trades. That has high ADR and your SL was to tight. Trade worked in your favor but don't you think that SL was suicidal for that kind of high ADR pair? They easily move 30 40 pips up and down.

I don't look generally.

I don't care too much about PAC and I try to get quick pips.

Yes, you are right. It was risky. However it was below cloud. If it broke the cloud, I thought it can go faster and tried to stop loss quick.

EDIT: I am not a good trader like other participants. I have lots of think that have to learn. There are probably lots of mistake and want to learn with sharing.

Yes there are lots of things on your chart that raise some question in my mind. just a few.

1. You don't care for the PAC but still they are on your chart
2. You don't care of the ADR because you wanted quick pips. And there is an ADR indicator there.
3. You believe in cloud yet you took a long entry below the cloud.
4. Those S/R's MA's role not clear
5. you believe in stoch but didn't mention how you use TDI

What do you think about the above? Aren't they confusing to you?

For the newbie. Just to share ideas

1. Draw your own S/R lines on WK and D1. Only recent S/R.
2. Do we have any set ups on any Time frame? If no then no question. If yes then
1. Which one and how will we trade? Where will we want to open? where should be the SL? Where to BE? Where to TP or how will we manage if it runs in favor? If not in favor where to cut loss?

EDIT- Use your own skill do not borrow from others

Yes, I have ADR and PAC but they don't confuse me. So I am comfortable. I trade below the cloud and I explained it previous posts. Sometimes I trade counter. For instance, AUDCAD long trade, the previous candle was a sign for a rejection. There is also one more support around this area in 1-2 days ago. TDI entry is classical for me. I look the red-green cross, overbought - sold areas, MBL crosses and vb cross.

Very good points..

Whats the general consensus on trading against the daily or weekly trend? I read Big E's posts and he was totally with trend flow, but if one is just looking at hourly candles, do they matter?

Cheers & Happy Weekends to all

I think lastingwell suggested trading with the next higher TF up. If you use H1, let H4 be your trend chart.
