Australian Inflation fell
Published quarterly report of the Australian consumer price index puts additional pressure on the RBA on the eve of its meeting next week.
Pay attention to the annual value of 1.3% at the RBA's inflation target of 2-3% per annum. But the central bank is still more interested in the smoothed Trimmed Mean value (1.7%), but the annual general does not give "relax".
All this is on a level with the passivity of the Fed inflates additional expectations of further easing of monetary policy of the Central Bank, the meeting will take place on Tuesday, on May 3. Official forecasts have not yet mean a rate cut, but markets have already laid the order of 40% on probable rate cut.
FOMC is in no hurry to raise rates
Published on Wednesday the FOMC minutes of the meeting do not fully reflect the desire of a quick increase of the interest rate the Fed seem to question the June decision of the Committee taken off the agenda.
The protocol has undergone cosmetic edits:
- Expectations of inflation remain weak. Removed reference to "the growth of inflation in the coming months"
- Lowered the role of global risks. Deleted proposal to "continue to pose risks of global variables".
- Changed the description of the economic component in a more neutral direction. Noting the continued growth of the labor market, but consumer sentiment reduced. With the growth of income was a decrease in costs.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand left interest rates unchanged
Despite official forecasts, the market laid a fairly high percentage of probability of a lower interest rate, but the rate unchanged and the modified text of the Protocol made their quotations correction.
RBNZ remains prone to loose monetary policy, but at the same time, his report is not too "soft", as "the situation demands":
- The situation with the export prices for dairy products is gradually improving
- Volatility in financial markets declined
- The exchange rate is still high
- The economy is supported by strong internal migration, construction activity, tourism and the respective situation of the RBNZ policy
- The main local risk remains the same - the weakness of "milk" of the sector, the decline in inflation, overheating in the real estate sector.

The Bank of Japan left unchanged incentive program
The Bank of Japan decided to leave the program of asset purchases unchanged, although the market is expected to further stimulate a high degree of probability.
The Bank of Japan expects the rise in inflation to the target of 2% in 2017. Hi Guys! This thread seems to be quite popular amongst people who believe news are important for trading. So do I, and I need some advice. So I ask here: Recently I modified a news indicator, placed it alongside my currency strength indicator and found strange relationships. Well, not so strange, if we think about it. There have been news events these days (mostly JPY, NZD, AUD) which sent some shockwaves through the market. You may have noticed them. And there were obviously correlated price reactions of 'remote' pairs, e.g. EURGBP reacting on...

Does anybody fully understand this system? For example why vvFish sold GBPUSD before news on this screenshot even that GBP on CCI was raising (also over 50) and this pink indicator also was raising?
