This is interesting now.. Morgan Stanley sees the YEN at 106 this year and Goldmas Sachs sees the YEN at 130 by the end of this year. As of now Morgan Stanley has been more accurate on the YEN

l have been back testing 50/2.1 and fits very well with my strategy. I will still be getting in on 100/2 but will try getting out on 50/2.1, based on my buy and sell signals the two together work extremely well. Thanks bud.

If i may please,

is there any particular reason why you choose this price as the turning point for you?

I have attached a chart with that price outlined. Could you elaborate please?

same reason i was short earlier... any four/five (even better six) continuous lower/higher closes or higher/lower than previous 4 candles would turn the direction for me....

the short side logic did not work so long side would now. i am running two mt4 one would confirm me that in 30 minutes the other one in 1.5 hours.

other factors for confirmation i cant share at the moment...

Glad to help. That second figure, the '2', is the standard deviation factor which sets the envelope width. As you push the central EMA number up you need to increase the other in tandem, but only by a little. The default numbers are chosen because they work well together, i.e. 14/2 (IIRC).

look at that...1 min..chart...low volume and sudden spike....bulls are not enough with volume...bears will take over this for sure...all set to make this pair lower..i hope in next hour will see only red candle..

How can you see volume in f/x markets? It's not possible. It would only be your broker's customers?

This spike was because AUDJPY got sold heavily because of bad news, which dragged the other JPY pairs along for a bit + profit taking from the end of the Asian session as traders close their positions, which just happens like that everyday. Does not mean any bear has taken over anything LOL Also, as Startcraftmaz said, there is no volume in Forex, its OTC! The most you can see is the order book from YOUR broker, which says nothing about the market as a whole. But most likely the volume YOU are referring to is from MT4, which is nothing more than the amount of TICKS received within the related pair in the current bar. It says nothing at all since it differs heavily between brokers how many ticks they send, which again depends on their LP setup and how these stream and at what rate.

You gotta learn a lot mate, start at babypips.com before coming here and on the EURUSD thread and making smartass comments which are nothing more than bullcrap, sorry to say, but you are not the big trader you think you are with your 7 posts and a week of forex trading

With strong dollar, the pair is slowly moving towards to 112.00 level if it stay steady above 111.75 level.

BOJ Statement...policy unchanged = + 186 pips for moi. I was short at 111.625, going nowhere, and contemplating exiting when BOOM! That was a pleasant surprise. I'm usually on the wrong end of those moves.
