{quote} But.. to be aware of the resistance formed by the weekly WRB / Master candles.. {image}
Ignored

Yes, those WRB/MC highs are resistance when the market is in a range. We look for potential breakout of the highs.
We have FOMC this week and Brexit still hit topic in the UK.
My guess is there will be no Brexit and there will be compromise and the UK will get better terms to remain in the EU.

{quote} Thank you Mr. Emmanuel, for your help and your time!! EDIT: To get the "52-Weeks average trading range", do I just do a ATR(52) on a weekly chart? Is there indicator you have on the attached H4 chart available for public use?
Ignored

Hi,

I have my own private tools for study and planning purposes.
I used that 52-weeks average range tool to look back in the history to see how the market traded according to the weekly range and comparing with the use of pivot indicators.
I will work on a version for live trading which we can place on our trading charts, but not time at the moment. Have this in mind planned.

Entry and Exits:

Using Stop Loss is important as it is part of our Exit Strategy. It is often said by investment/trading coaches that:
Every Entry must have minimum two Exits.
First Exit is your Stop Loss SL.
Second Exit is your Take Profit TP.

When I studied all of Big Es post and training charts, he has different ways in which he placed his initial Stop Loss. He placed stop loss based on the price action and he did not use any of those price action channel PAC available. He was an excellent Price Action trader. He was not an indicator junky type of trader.

1) For the trade setups which are reversal setups and entry based on APB#1 and APB#2, he would use the last swing high or swing low to place his initial SL. From his experience, this initial SL give his trades room to breathe and the market seldom threaten his SL when there is price momentum. When he manages his trades manually, he would pull out pf his trades when market retraces against him. This is because of the high risk using 15% to 30% of his $10k deposit per trade.

2) Big E also uses two other methods to place his initial SL
.... by placing his SL below/above the previous candle low/high or
..... placing his SL below/above the previous 2 candles. You will see on his training charts

These are based on price momentum seen in the APB candles. He did not use the real price bars or Japanese candlesticks. He kept his trading simple using only the APB candles.

The most important thing about Big E trading style is his use of the TDI Red Green version and they way he used that TDI Green line in live market condition. We all know by now that this TDI Red Green is re-painting all history bars when the charts are refreshed. This means that the charts we see are not the actual what the TDI Green line is when in live market.

Many use the realtime version of the TDI the TDI_RT and the Synergy_Pro_TDI , these version do not repaint the history bars. What you see in back-testing history charts are what it actually is live market condition.

In the chart posted below, there are other methods to place stop loss and move stop loss in trade management.
Using the consolidation area and placing stop loss away from the consolidation area. You can also trail the market using the consolidation area by placing your trailing stops below or above the consolidation areas. WRB, MC, Darvas Box, are good tool to use and to place our trade stop loss using these tools.
Stop Loss alone will not protect your trading/investment account. It is SMART money management strategy that will protect your trading and investment accounts. Using the proper risk model in your money management will save your account and when you use percent risk and do your trade position sizing like what professional traders do, you have an edge over those who trade with fix lot size and are afraid of 100 to 150 pips as stop loss.

You need to have at least Eight Edges in Your Trading . How many do you have at the moment?

Mr Emmanuel,

From my standpoint, and I'm sure others. It is very difficult to read your posts, knowing how much time and thought went into each one, without saying "Thank You" each time you post a gem. From what I read here so far, you actually don't like to be praised or receive any sort of adulation for the the many that you help each day. You do it, because you actually like helping others, without expecting anything in return! Whats even more incredible, you have been doing it for years, non stop, in spite of having a family and a life outside of here!

I know that there are people here that might not share my opinion of you, but non can ever deny your timeless unselfish efforts; posting, responding to posts, responding to private messages, for no other reason then, you want every person that crosses your path to become a better trader, just as Eric (RIP) did before you!!

So, I'll try and refrain from posting a "Thank You" after each gem you post, and they are frequent, so as not to interrupt the flow of the topics. BUT please know one thing Mr. Emmanuel, your wisdom, knowledge and kindness are VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

Peace and prosperity always.

Hello,

I really appreciate your sharing information about this system. I used to test this system for some months, but I understand it is still a little complicated for newbies like me. So , I developed my own system based on the rules in this thread. I would be pleased if you spend your time and check my lower risk TDI system.

Trading Made Simple 5-Method is such a simple trend trading methodology yet many traders turn to and became indicator junkies when they do not have the skills for price action trading like Big E had.
The key is to unlock the secrets in this Post#647 below. Very few traders succeeded in unlocking the secrets and they they cry everyday that we should keep it simple because is thread title is "Trading Made Simple".

<quote>
our safest trades will always be when green crosses red and you enter on candle 1 or 2... odds are in your favor. Why? Because I'm expecting 3-8 candles... which is average...

With bounce trades the odds are lower for your success... but it still works.

When wanting to enter a TDI trade... take a moment first to observe basic 4x things... like:

How close am I to the previous high or lo

Am I in an uptrend or downtrend.. short & long term...

Am I in or close to a consolidation area

Are the previous candles small...

Look at the candles on the last reversal... big, little, what

How does the momentum look right now (12-2, 4-6)

Does Stoch's confirm the TDI signal

Sounds like a lot of stuff but it's basic stuff and only takes a moment to observe it...

If you don't already know these things... don't trade live yet... www.babypips.com is a good place to learn about the basics of trading 4X.

Do you have that key to unlock the secrets?

Instead of saying big candles and small candles like what written Post#647, etc.
I prefer to use what price action traders use terms like Wide Raneg Bar WRB, Inside Bar IB, Darvas Box High / Low .
Are these much easier to see on our charts ?

Just share something I noticed.
when we trade H1 chart, you can see TDI&PA 70-80%move one direction.
GU,the first 1H or 30 min of LO there is 90% a fake entry.
I combined the rainbow, trade only the candle emitupwards from the red MA
The success rate is very high.
only trade london session
don't trade the ADR smaller than 40 pips during Asian Session
GU is good
Then as normal newbies get 40-70 pips per day per trade is good.
But this method just I use,it's BigE thread so I won't talk about it.
