Hello to all, I been following the thread for a week or so decided to have a go.

Entered this on close of first 30M after FO so FO+30 Minutes

you can use your account history tab to show your entry exit of the trade.

Thanks for the heads up although it wont do me any good.
I do my analysis with MT4 and place my orders with a separate ECN broker, (IB actually)
My broker IB doesn't have an MT4 platform

Took the loss, recent 30 minute candle closed bearish and Red news in 30 minutes so I hopped out.

Thanks Omonisha. I have been reading for what seems ages lol and guess I need to go back through again . So no selling at resistance and buying a support? just stay away from s/r all together? Guess I still have a ways to go. Thank you very much for helping me!

this was on Gold M30 -
price had bounced of the pivot line twice and was testing it again so i placed a sell stop below it by 30 pips...
as you can see it hit my TP - unfortunately this was on demo

GBPJPY H1 +50
Big price rejection from previous months low which formed a nice APB pin bar. Entered on second APB out of the PAC to ensure momentum and break of previous level. BRN could have been a problem the the momentum was there. Nice TDI cross on the 50 level (tick/check mark cross) Nice set and forget trade.

GBPUSD H1 +50
Another big price rejection from BRN and Weekly 10ema. Nice TDI cross with rapid green and red separation (sign of momentum)

These 2 could go anywhere with all the data releases

Yes that is. Price moves from level to level. When we see set ups we also want to have space for that price to move.

This trade was not taken with TDI. Later a realized that the entry point is exactly like I would trade with TDI

EN H4 - PA bounced off D1&W1 supp & i entered just above the BRN - cross looked a bit funny [wat i call a slip-cross] but had good angles @ entry - PA never closed below W1 supp so i stayed in 4 bounce ..... GN would have work aswell but it just looked 2 fierce 4 me

side note - last ticket but all my scripts stopped work'n [happens a lot wit MT4 ] so have 2 deal manually

I just made the rookie error of trading around news time (Dragi press conference), I had what seemed like good entries, all the signs etc and then suddenly turned. As I was trading a demo I didnt have a stop loss, so eventually closed 4 trades losing around 300 pips

Lesson learned

Look at the last bull cross. Was it higher or lower than the current bull cross?

If you trade a bull cross, then the bulls should be in control, right?

Who does your chart tell you is in control?

It was higher.......so that tells me bears still in control then right?

Took this trade earlier today based on the 4H chart, below is the 1H. The question, when is the best time to take profit or is there still life in this yet according to the chart?
