Shame, but it looks like another thread that's degenerating into another 'you can get rich quick if you trade my way'. I thought the reason LW started the thread was to give newbies, who are probably on demo accounts, a help in getting a basic idea of trade entry and management using the TMS method and build their confidence. Looks like I was wrong Good luck guys and green pips

I am sad to see Lookleft leave the thread.

I am very grateful for his teaching I memorize many of what he said. I hope he can change his mind I think this thread is a open place where every one can teach.

Nice bearish divergence on H4 stoch and H1 TDI/stoch. Entered as price broke below yesterday high.

Closed as price approached BRN.

SHAME, another EGO thread!

This thread having "TMS" in its title is an INSULT to the memory of BigE, and to be called "TMS for Newbies 2" is an insult to MrAussieFX!!

MrAussieFX had wonderful intentions to teach the simplified version of the BigE's TMS, put so much effort into it, and it was destroyed by some of the same people here that can only BRAG what great traders they are, how many pips they make in their little demo accounts. Having charts that don't even resemble ANYTHING that BigE worked so hard to develop and perfect, and gave us!

Seriously, how does this post HELP any of us !
This waiting in the sidelines ready to jump in with a judgement attitude is really childish.
Nobody is perfect and most threads will have it's imperfections and deviations from the rules.
But there are people here who are ready to grab the different "perspectives". As long as the main focus and rules of the thread is maintained (most of the time) I think it is a good ROI. But I do not own this thread and merely a student here.

Let's carry on.
Live life king size !

In my humble almost 11 years of trading experience, it is amazing how vile and vicious this forum has become. Don't take anything anybody says on this or any other forums as absolute Gospel. I wish posters used IMHO or IMHE more in their posts. I admit there is information overload here for newbies. You got a variety of experienced traders here sharing their valuable insights. I don't care if they trade demo or mini lots, just take any useful insight from what the are trying to share here.

Try BigE's (RIP) way of trading or lastingwell's MTF TDI for at least 100 trades, if you like it keep it and if not the ditch it. Try H4 trading like griffinssoul for at least 100 trades. Try Davit's Pivots. Try likica's M30 trading, LE1's M15 trading or Emma's ME/ME way of trading. Now, due to a variety of reasons some of these variations may not be even suitable for you to try so disregard them at this time. You got to take these variations and then make them your own.

Please stop thinking that BigE's (RIP) way of trading is the only answer/way to achieve trading success. We see SIMPLE in a thread title and think EASY but after further examination we see Not so Simple after all.

Quote by Emma regarding TMS: "I traded according to Post#1 but did not find it to give the R:R and Expectancy I want.
So I studied all eelfranz posts and focused on Post#261 and Post#647, worked hard forward testing trying to understand what he was saying in that two very important posts. I found my way and with my own money management strategy, I am so happy that I found my way to trading made simple. I achieved and maintain consistency in the R:R and expectancy I work for." He is talking about what led him to ME/ME (multiple entry, multiple exit strategy).

The sad truth is even after all the hard work the majority will leave the trading arena with empty pockets. God Bless You
Trading can't be taught but it can be learned

Ok firstly, MrAussie tried to keep things simple, but it wasn't Big E's simplified version that MrAussie was teaching. BigE didn't use the market base line, he also didn't use the 50 line and those were in MrAussie's thread. He also didn't use any realtime versions of the TDI even though they were available so it wasn't so simple after all. Nobody who is present on this thead destroyed MrAussie's thread, if you read between the lines it is easy to see what did.

I started this thread because of a LOT of pm's from different newbies (and not so new) who wanted a thread where they could ask questions in a friendlier environment, that could get their questions answered, wouldn't be put off by their questions seeming "silly" and could be about any timeframe they wanted.

We have a lot of different threads here related to TMS, we have the daily chart one, we have tms on m30 and we have the original which started off on H4. The people that pm'd me didn't want those restrictions and being told they should only trade a certain timeframe or they would lose their money or being told to read from page 1 of a thread that is 30,000 pages long and confusing, so I started this one so people could ask "silly" questions if they wanted to, and they could try different things while keeping the core indicator the tdi. However, there have been hardly any questions from people that said they wanted it and thats very disappointing to me, because I trade for a living and didn't put up a thread for my own benefit, I'm quite happy on the sidelines just posting in Likica's thread.

Pipsninja said it so much better than I could myself, take what you can from each and every chart you see posted (which is what I used to do when I first started) digest it, throw it away or take something from it, its up to you, but unless we have some actual questions from people that cried out for this thread, it will die like the last one.

Not taking this trade, just wanted to see what you think of my analysis of AUDCAD on 1H timeframe.

Double bottom, bullish engulfing, TDI cross, S38 pivot, BRN(0.98000)

All advice appreciated.

I never go against the h4 and this would be against it, there was a bearish engulfing on my h4 on the last candle that closed. The daily finished on mine as an inverted hammer right on that support, but price went up from that this morning, which would have been the higher probability trade back up, it was rejected from the pivot and is coming back down again, so not a high probability trade in my eyes until my h4 closes in roughly 90 minutes looking like it will turn.

The other thing I will say is take a look at Griff's image attached to this post that he posted a little while back. Nothing on here is going against what BigE advocated, he has the HA's and the thick ma is simply the close line of the bars. So instead of looking at his chart thinking OMG he's made 100 pips, I feel jealous and he is just showing off, study it because its about as basic Big E as you will get on here, he looks at the higher timeframe to tell the trend of the moment, he looks at s/r and a good angle on the tdi, how much simpler can it get.

Do you see why I binned my threads?

Running a thread in an international forum is some serious work. I learned that.

Keep the thread going. It is not about ego. People have different ways of trading the TDI, but it revolves around green crossing red at the correct angle. We have the tools now that Big E did not have, so we can have even sharper entries! My take is that everyone posts however many charts in whatever different TF they want. As long as our trigger is the TDI, it gives us the chance to choose what we need. I myself am a price action trader naturally, I trade naked. But there is nothing wrong with using indicator triggers if it helps.

Please, a relaxing environment is what we are striving for. Do not exclude, and do not be a purist( I myself was guilty of that in my early FF days)
If you are good at something, never do it for free--Joker
