That's a little strange , the link you posted doesn't show the special meetings, even after the fact . I guess the fed doesn't count the surprise announcements as meetings .

ok, sorry, maybe you were right when it comes to special meetings. till today I had no idea there are any. I just normally track the important ones which are in their official schedule.

my random comment: I think its just pretty no-value article. There is some USD weakness due to delaying next hike but judgeing from the DXY its just a small fraction of the U/J recent mid term move. There are definitely other forces behind which I do not know but I bet they come from JPY side. So some journalist made nice headline but thats where the value starts and ends in my eyes.

P.S.: what r some good media/servers u guys use for news/macoanalysis? I feel like most of the mainstream media "analysis/comments" are completely absolutely useless waste of time.

We are going to see some very sharp moves later in the year. The major impact in Sterling and Euro are more for the mid term until then there will be plenty of 'chop' in between 94.4x and the highs but heavy momentum on the break up 100.xx l....

Euro struggling in the highs and in desperate need of a hand to break the handle. However, Dollar entering in key long/mid and short term area and things are going to get a lot more complicate and 'sensitive' in the FX board.

One more time 1.139x for the roll but this time we are technically in FILL or KILL mode for those on the long side as there is no point in leaving any more room for manoeuvre until key US inflation numbers ... for the guys in the exercise no winners so far all still open ...Compression range keep flirting to blow any minute but as always no break no shake ...

exactly. the price is still keeping the elyptical shape - just cannot find the right fibbo elypsis to post chart - but its there somewhere And the final assault on the top of the range is coming as soon as eu session.

There is not much to say. It's nearly a month since changed short and mid term outlook to neutral from the ECB/NFP combo. By now even the most sluggish trader has spotted the short term range... so basically not much to update in the Euro.

On the FA side, US Inflation is the one to track for the FED as Dollar is in key short/mid and long term areas while European equities stating to show early signs of decoupling with the Euro meaning the value is getting too expensive and is starting to weight heavier in European markets.

On the TA side, we have a short term cluster fuck inches away from key mid term areas to the top side but far enough from anything interesting in the short term to the down side .... meaning chop and lots of noise as widely expected in double neutral outlooks (short and mid term) so until we solve the area there is not much to change or do so same levels, same trades, same all
