{quote} It cant because no other major currency has a floor. Such a move will not happen out of thin air. 500 - 700 pips, yes, over 2,000 pips, no way.

CHF has no floor anymore as well, anyone who is crying "caution with the CHF pairs" is over 1 year to late Swiss SNB is not intervening anymore like this. Just the normal intervention which all other central banks do for their currencies too. So itīs just as risky as any other pair after the January 2015 crash.

I am just reminding you the snb said it will add the floor again if it finds it necessary.

Okay lets get a reality check,i am not yelling wolf here.
but clearly Eur/Usd represents 2 large economies, switzerland is a tiny little country how much strength can they muster against the unknown?
I have been trading Eur/Usd for most of trading career, i have traded others too,but nothing beats the PA Eur/Usd makes and gives.
To each his own,i won't force my opinion on anyone, but yelling boring in eur thread, that is just mehh,it's not the first range in Eur for 5 days,do you wanna get it high on steroids?then you wont get an entry.
anyways
Take care.

anything can happen
what i am saying is candle size dont mean anything, all the oscillators and moving averages dont mean anything, all the news dont mean anything, turn off your tv and news website and just wait for the candles to close

it doesnt matter what they do now, they did it the first time and created a big reaction in the market. this reaction will make future reactions whether they did something or not. so usdchf will have big moves up and down. the current targets are far away and can be up and down but in general the direction is up on the monthly chart but drawdown can be very large

SNB will not intervene again, they donīt have the money to do that once again. Theyīve lost SO much last time, that is also why they removed the floor in one go. They will not make the same mistake again as it would cost them a lot again - money they donīt actually can afford to lose (again).
