APG04, running 14 hours with below settings, 57€ profit but DD more than double that:

Day No. 2. with APG_04 EUR/GBP forward test. Still in net profit... Graph Red line: Balance. Yellow line: Equity. (Balance - Equity = Flaoting Loss)

step of 10 (1pip) will attract big DD, we all know this.
i have tried to start trades with a trend, now i prefer to follow the trend

It will be so helpful if you can add the stoploss function in terms of balance percentage to APG 04. In that way it becomes more secure!

indeed, making tests with step - 30, 100, 150, 250 results are much better with higher step

This one is for zigler

Its an experimental Gird Pyramiding EA I made a while ago, and was keeping it to myself

This is a back test on EUR/USD since 1/1/2015.

I did spend a few months last year working with a buy and sell stop EA with no success but will take a look at this one.

APG_04 checked at DE30 M5 Nov/2015-03/2016
step 30, 100, and 150 failed but with step 250 and Lot 0,01 passed with 100 % profit and DD 28,45 %;
5k USD account.
Test was done quickly and i will run on most precise mode later.

Interesting EA, Khalil!

Although there were only 52 trades in 15 months, the +68% profit translates to an impressive +54% per year with less than 20% DD.

Even the world's best paid top fund managers (with $5+ Milllion monthly salaries) can do "only" 30-40% per year...

With less than 1 trade a week this EA would not keep anyobody glued to the monitor, but hey, who cares if the EA performs better than the best fund managers of the world... Even while sleeping...

By any chance, have you tested a longer time period?

Would you mind running some backtests on somewhat less volatile pairs, like EUR/GBP, EUR/CHF, AUD/CAD, AUD/NZD...?

i am testing on DE30 as i am most focused on this indecs and i believe that of EA survive at DE then it will perform well on other pairs

Can you actually do tickmode that far back or are you using bar close? If so, which broker do you use? At best I can only do somewhere in 2014 and that is not even back to January?

Yes, So We Have To Put A Condition,
That (Profits Of Buy >0) and (Profits Of Sell Also >0),
not Only One Profit > 0

So, It Will Be More Profits To Go To Fixed Profits Box
