woke up today to see 80% holding EU short vs 20% holding EU long on cTrader. It's gonna be real bad for retail traders if prices burst upwards

Nothing bullish about DAX or any equity index right now. UJ tanking, but the follow through/ velocity right now for a sustained moved on this is risky.

Anyone buying ?

The report from the ISM from the 1st is referring to multiple districts as being " steady " and " stable ". The most recent report showing that the ISM is growing from contraction for the second time since march. GDP is sure to be higher, leading to an up move in the S&P and a down move in the USD. I'd like to see the S&P make a nice move up and the eurusd to move up with it. From the weekly, you can see a turnover starting to form. Most of this move should last a good 8 to 12 months. You might see on the news " S&P making new highs since April ". Most likely all the hedge funds and banks are already positioned.

If this isn't enough confirmation for ya, then check out the survey of consumers. Consumer confidence and expectations are high. Looks like a bright future for the US economy.. at least for a year lol..

Uh, yeah, that correlation works since the oil crisis began. But there are some people here who aswered me back "what oil has to do with EU?!"
By the way, in addition, DAX & CAD (canada is a big oil exporter) goes correlated with DOW, WTI, S&P as well

oil does not correlate with eur. the reason is because they are both traded against usd and therefore have the same movement as usd which makes up correlation.
