You've already discovered for yourself that end of week is flat. End of month is flatter as all the big guys have worked out what they are going to do next month (wish they'd gives us a clue) and they spend their time hunting for stop losses. So for me end of month is sit on hands time and watch the carnage.
Today EA was a typical example. Big moves with quick pull backs, somebody was looking for something.
As Lastingwell said, keep doing what you are doing and you'll be good to go.

Thanks LL for the explanation. Will explore past history. I did notice however that crosses (long or short) where ever it does happen between 68 & 32 looks decent in most scenarios. Having said that the rules increase your chances of a better "bet" I believe.

If you look at post #30 MrAussie explained very clearly about the 68 and 32 limits in the TDI.

Don't take this the wrong way, I am just trying to understand exactly how you trade, because I take the same entries sometimes, although my rules say to enter on the close and cross, not on the open and cross. So I think clear rules should be established, so that the newbies will know exactly what entry to take when they believe they see a cross.

In your second chart you said that the cross happened on the close of candle 2. Well, actually the cross happened on the open of candle 3. If you put a vertical line on candle 2, you will see there is no cross. When candle 3 opens, that is when the TDI moves to the right and creates the cross. And if candle 3 would have been moving up, the TDI PL would have gone up as well and there would not have been any cross to see, because RSI takes into consideration the closed price.

Again, please do not take it the wrong way!

H1 TDI cross below MBL, 50 level and red line. H4 TDI below red and yellow. Nice angle on H1/H4 TDI.

Entered at cross of trend line.

Closed as price reached previous low for +54.

Nice end to the week.

dis is natural cause u can get the same info from others tings [mainly direct from PA] - the VBs give u no more info than read'n PA [i prefer PA but 4 noobs better to start wit it] - MBL info is same as look'n at higher time frames ..... so both LL & JMN r correct but 4 diff reasons .... cause post #30 has details on VB & MBL better 2 stick wit it when noob & post'n here

NICE - just to confirm you took two trades at the same time and closed them out separately?

good tink'n billsmith - the important bit is u cant separate win% & R:R - 1 wit out the other is meaningless ...... u can tell a lot about a trader by look'n at this pair 4 a start ......

thanks - in my trading journey i have tried many things including Signals (Terrible things) they would have 95% win rate yet 95% (or more) drawdown so i learnt that win percentage is not the first thing to assess when looking at trading statistics.

The MBL and volatility bands depends on whether you are a TMS trader or a Synergy trader. If you are a TMS trader, then you will not factor the volatility bands or the MBL into your equation. However, if you need to be a Synergy trader due to the inability to read price action at this time, you will keep these things in place. Running a thread is a lot of work for no pay, so AussieFX has provided a service here. I don't intend to be overly critical.

Yes Bill. 2 separate entries at same price. I close one as a banker and let other one run or, as in this case, close at target.
