How soon till the mql5 store version is updated? I assume it has to go through a review stage before the update is published?

Closure Mode
May be an slow day tomorrow, more of US markets will be closed.
I am expecting spread and slippage increase on forex market.
I do recommend to set EG104 in closure mode starting now.
How to set EG104 to closure mode?
For a single chart, set CONTINUE=false.
for multiple charts, create a global variable named closure and set its value to 1.
to resume trading next week, set closure variable to 0.

Thanks for your EG. I tested for about 2 weeks and it worked good.
I tried symmentry style (default setup) at first. EURUSD gave good result but GBPUSD failed this week.
GBP went south March 22 with little retrace. My demo account had 0.64+0.32+0.16+0.08+0.04+0.02+0.01 buy but GBP dropped deeper.
It seems 0.64 is the largest lot by default in symmentry style. After 0.64 EG will not buy any more. It sells only.
Do you have any suggestion for such kind of market that go forward without retrace?

Besides, I edit my setting to ScalpGrid+mChannel yesterday after symmentry. But it showed TWO 0.01 sell and TWO 0.02 sell. How to avoid this?

To make scenarios like the GBPUSD not to fail, you need more capital. The EA did not open lot of 1.28 because money, not because it stops at 0.64
This EA do not stop averaging down. What I recommend for small capital is to trade it with bigger grid sizes. Decrease GridSizeFactor or enter a value in GridSizePips.
The best option to go with small capital is to open a cent account (mini or micro).

The other question, when you enable symmetry and mChannel together, they open two cycles. to avoid miss quantities, be sure to set a magic number that is different to each one. Example, 301 for symmetry and 302 for mChannel.

Next week, I will demo a multi setup with symmetry and floppy channel. Floppy vs mChannel is that Floppy channel moves up and down with price, mChannel is static.

Let's see how it works,

Hey Bauta, I use a strategy which relies on closing any open trades at exactly the "close time" from the EA settings. Is there any way that you could make it an option to choose between closure mode or something like an absolute close time? Thanks.

Grid trading systems do not use stop losses, either by money or by time.
setting up stop you will lose money.
is there any reason to stop at specific time? do you believe on market open, closing, overnight time myth?
note EG104 is set to closure mode, by default, on the second half of Fridays, only to have an emotionally relaxed weekend, not because time matter here.
Some traders ask me to disable symmetry overnight. do you know that symmetry performs best overnight? When market is ranging is when symmetry performs best.

you will need to close all position manually, if you want to do that on scheduled time, you may google for an EA that do that.

setting GridSizeFactor and GridSizePips to zero will default to the spread. You may be trapped in a multiple orders at an instant.
If you want to trade on the spread, be sure to enable Dynamic_Grid=true and set Dynamic_Percent_Increase to 40 or more.

it is good for scalping. I like it better on SclaperGrid style. Note you need a well funded account to scalp with EG104

I did update EG104 to default grid size to twice the spread when GridSizePips and GridSizeFactor are both zero.

How to create a multi setups/cycles, same symbol?
Example: EURUSD, EG style: symmetry
1-Open the first EURUSD chart, add EG104 to it and set magic number to 1.
2-open the second EURUSD chart and set magic number to 2.
3-repeat number 2, adding one to the magic number, up to the desired quantity of charts.
You may open up to 99 charts.

What EG104 does?
When magic number is less than 100, EG104 wait for an offset of 3 pips (30 points for 5 digits broker) before opening the second chart cycle. this is done with the intention of having setups at different price levels.
EG104 also have a waiting time in minutes to open the first cycle.
Note that the delay time/price is available only when magic number is less than 100. if you want to disable the waiting time, enter magic numbers greater than 100, example: 301, 302, etc

Before using multi cycles, be sure you download the last revision on post one.

For SQL5 registered traders: Note SQL5 takes time to evaluate and approve the new releases. I do apologize for that. The update is been submitted to MQL5.
For paypal users: Now you can download the EA on post one. You license is been hard coded into the ex4 file. Also, I do update the link I did provide to you before. either file will be the same file.
