How do you use the indicator? I follow this day in oil and euro. It is just follow the big candles with the highest number?
Hi guys I need some help, none of the indicators, not the manual NS indy nor the histogram indy show up on my charts. A new window does open underneath but it is empty. What is going on?? Thanks!

For the indicator in the new field you have to wait until it appears. And that could take a while.
It's just how that indicator works.

Hello everybody,

i donīt know if this thread is still alive? I have a question to the N4S Indy-01 Indicator. The Indicator is running on two different accunts and shows in the same Pair different Signals. Knows someone if there is a issue with the refreshing of the Indicator?

Its a live !

N4S family relies on Timers not Ticks, so if the indicator started at different accounts at different times (even with milliseconds difference) it might show different results.
Also you need to ignore the first signal after attaching the indicator to a chart. Simply switch to another time frame and re-switch to the previous time frame and the indicator will reset the values.

N4S Settings will highly affect how to trade it.
Specially the settings related to Speed Threshold and Time, which are different for each pair depending on its volatility.

thanks for your quick reply. I knew aleady about the resetting of the values but iīm skeptical. As you know from my PM a few days ago, i would like to use the Indy as a Filter for an EA. Itīs a currency strength Dashboard which shall trade the weakest or strongest currency but only if there is a Signal from the N4S Indy (all TF green or red/ above threshold) as confirmation. Would you say that could work?? or is there a possibility that you implement the Dashboard in your EA?

Hi Abokwaik,

i checked it again and after 1 hour of running the Indy shows on two accounts different signals. Both where refreshed at the same time. The Ea (N4S 05) shows in both accounts the same Signals in both pairs even after hours of running???

Very very interesting indy's and comments in here. Have you ever thought of combining these indy's with a renko chart/strat? I'm going to head up to the roof and turn on the Mathtrader-signal!

Versions prior to 5 use impulse count only, while versions 5 and above use impulse power, as explained in post#300, post#435 and post#545.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, my recommendation and this is how I am using need4speed:
- I use version 5 EA (latest one) source posted here. I disable live trading. (too lazy now to make an indicator , but I will).
- I set the speed suitable for each pair I trade (for example 20 for EU and GU, 35 for Gold).
- I watch for consecutive sound signals (as I work on other issues and don't watch the charts), consecutive here means multiple signals in a short time (one minute).
- when that happens I know there is volatility in the market, I look at the chart, if those signals align with s/r, fibo, RN, TL ... etc. I consider taking the signal on the best price I can (I usually split the trade into 2 to 5 positions, with unified SL, and different TP levels).

So basically I use it to draw my attention, rest is manual.

i've read your thread...and i am highly interested in trying out your latest N4S_5 system...i've been trading about a year now with some success...so i consider myself a beginner...question..do you have a user guide i could use to get up and running fast...or maybe one of your followers in this thread that's having success with this could lend a hand....
