Hy,

i have a question regarding the histogram.
I put the indicators into the folders but it seems that I can't get the same picture with the bars as others do.
There are no bars at all.
Can anybody help?

N4S read live ticks. so no history can be printed. only if time pass live.

abokwaik: is it possible n4s could write live history in a file? so we don't lose it when we change TF

I tried the indicator version...but the numbers dont seem to move in the top right corner at all..... Does the candle have to be moving quickly to get a reading?

Unfortunately my chart does not show any number of impulses as well as histogram.Can someone help me?

To be able to assist you, kindly provide the following:

- Pair, Broker number of digits (4 or 5 for USD pairs, 2 or 3 for JPY pairs).
- EA version used
- EA/Indicator settings for Speed Threshold and Time parameters

Sorry Bernhard, I really haven't got the chance to try.
Many things to do and my time is becoming very limited.

I checked you're code and its seems that you :

1. disabled the higher tf filtration, which might work for quick scalping, but dangerous on longer term. The same effect can be done by setting higher tf parameters to the same chart tf.

2. added another filter on bull/bear difference. Which is already handled using the power ratio.

Have you tested it for a reasonable number of trades ?

I haven't spend much time testing, as I was involved in other issues.
I will have to leave the testing and finding best settings for you guys
while posting some new systems/robots very soon, either in Robots Lab thread, or in new threads .

Hello Abokwaik, I still have the indicator N4S_Histogram.ex4 on charts. I request a modification of the alert. I experiment with much smaller speed settings and like the alert at a minimum number of bear/bull signals with a message including the pair (not every bull/bear). I have it on 5-8 charts and like for example a alert with popup including the pair when 10 bear or bulls are printed. Alternative you could post the mq4 then I will try to include this.
2nd point, I don't know if it is possible to safe the history and don't lose it when TF is changed.

traders most always crosscheck time frame before entry. It would give much value to the indicator if the history would be saved.
Alternative example is here a volatility indicator, it save the history. unfortunately it seems not to show bull and bear separated as your n4s does.

Didn't I post the MQL file ?! seems not, actually I couldn't find it on my PC at work either.
Most probably I developed it at home.

The first request is easy and straight forward.

The second request regarding history saving, and of course retrieving and populating is not straight forward.
I didn't do it before, I think I can but it needs some time.

Here you go Bernhard,

This version of N4S_Histogram has an option for min Bull or Bear count to fire the alert showing pair name.
