Smart money uses all that liquidity to long.


Its all about the price, not the monetary policy. Now, if we were at 1.30+ and we got this announcement, EUR probably would have fallen 300+ pips and more in subsequent weeks.

But the reality is this. Anything under 1.10 is a very attractive EUR.

Note to those who are STILL biased short after 2 years.
You are CHASING a market that has already lost 25% of it's value.

Shorting EUR now is like longing UJ at 120+

Still in UJ longs (average price 113.10) and GU longs (average price 1.3910)

Agreed. They sure fooled me though with that move today. So now either USD/JPY will build a base here around 113 and slower than steering a ship the trajectory will eventually turn upward with some world equity markets. 1.11 is the unofficial level the Bank Of Japan implies they will act upon should it fall through.

The other picture is bleak; market sees this as the last effort in the saga of central bank intervention and despite all the measures the wheels just slowly loosen and then fall off. EUR/USD to 1.17 and beyond. USD/JPY to 1.07

You are unaware of how divergences and hidden divergences work.
You are also drawing some of them incorrectly.

Past divergences do not indicate anything. Only the most recent divergence matters.

Can't comment, not trading it.

Every so often, trades come around which can be held for the majority of the month.
When this happens I don't even day trade any currencies. I will only day trade the ES.

March is such a month where sitting on your butt and letting the positions run will be more profitable than actively trading them. GBP long, AUD long, USDCAD short are such trades.

I really only comment on trades that can be held for 2+ weeks. Trades that may take 48 hours or less are too susceptible to volatility and can change the outlook, so I wouldn't feel correct to comment on those with any sort of accuracy.

Ive been talking about GBP to 4450, USDJPY to 116, and AUD to 7600 since the end of February. Also CRUDE to $40.

Look at the 3-month candlestick on CRUDE. It actually indicates $50 crude by Summer (I bought at $27)
Which is also slowly becoming the consensus for the talking heads on Bloomberg (hedge fund managers/bank analysts)

Sorry I can't comment on USDCAD. Keep it until you see price action that it will drop (unless you are very confident in a target and would rather risk a retracement to obtain the target). For example, GBPJPY has many 150 pip drops during this rally. Yet I am confident (165-167) in the target so I don't mind sitting through these.
