If you can post a couple of charts we'll be able to give some advice. There was certainly some trades on H1.

The chart above are for GJ pair.

All GJ. GU. EJ. & EU has the same set up on TDI 4 hours chart, which was going short, entered at the second candle, after 3 hours, all stop loss was hit. Lost all 2 weeks profit.


Sorry for the chart, I am not good at posting on forum.

Hi emmanuel, how do you calculate your SL's to not get stopped on high volatility? based on % of ADR? I remeber you posting a tool on a site that you check the ADR of last 100Days? please enlight me

Hello Emmanuel and all the others. I'm still new to this method and I made my first Big picture plan on weekend. Today I had no time to trade due to work.
For the rest of the week I would lik to focuss on Aud/Usd, Eur/Gbp, Gbp/Aud, Eur/Cad
I did this for the first time so I would really appreciate it if someone can help me.

Aud/Usd just broke the resistance line and you can see a nice double bottom on weekly chart->maybe a trend reversal?
I think about trading on H4 or H1 to find an entry.

Second pair Eur/Gbp
On weekly chart you can see a bearish engulfing candle. On daily chart we are in consolidation. I think of trading short if it breaks the 0.77000 which is also a round number.

Third pair Gbp/Aud
Nice downtrend on weekly and daily. If it breaks the next support, I would trade short

Fourth Pair
Eur/Cad
Downtrend on weekly chart and consolideration on daily. We have a mothercandle on Daily chart and the last todays candle is a Nr4-Inside bar, which means it may break out of the support.

Please give me some advices as I'm still very new to this.
Btw sorry that these are charts from my phone but because of my work, I can only trade on my phone.

Hi Scrambleguy,
My primary pairs a GU, EU, AU, UJ, EJ, GJ, EA but I also watch GA, NU, UC and EG if any of the primary pairs are moving sideways. I trade to collect $ not pips so pairs with big spreads are out for me. I started with just GU and EU then added another pairs once I had an understanding of how each pair behaved.
By limiting the number of pairs you trade you reduce the chances of over trading (one of the biggest account killers) and it makes you look for good trades. I have my gun set to single shot instead of fully automatic

Great advice, I was actually thinking of just looking at 2 pairs and had my eye on ea and ga, what do you think?

GA can be a bit of a beast. If like the look of EA I'd also look at the 3 amigos (GU, EU, AU). Look at how pairs react with each other and you have a choice of picking 2 pairs that run together (means you could make 2 mistakes ) or 2 pairs that run in opposite directions.

I'm no expert but I think EA and GA might have a lot of correlation. If you can find uncorrelated pairs you reduce your risk on your bets.
In addition to correlation you can have a look at ADR values. Certain pairs travel wider ranges, on average, on a given day. Combine this with $pip-values to find what pairs are most interesting to trade.

From the top of my head GJ and EA look most interesting to me

Hi Zake,
That looks like the EU chart to me. Your chart says sell @ 1.10042 which looks like it was before the APB even changed color. It is far safer to wait until the APB has closed above/below the 5ema and with TDI confirmation. If that 'sell @' message is from an indicator I'd advise you get rid of it and stick with the basic TMS method (trade with the trend and with momentum)

Thanks, the volatility is the one I mentioned.

Does it make sense to use those range as SL after a D1 signal or continuation? to be "safe" you dont get stopped because of volatility?
