There was a gap down so far... last low was 1.09172 and high 1.09328 currently at 1.09245 according to one of my broker

and the funniest thing now is they are bearish on gold..saying to short it when its the only asset that has had return of 25% since the beginning of the year and hit a signinficant support time and time again all last year...

Basis of investment:
has acquired full mineral right to the worlds largest deposit of polyhalite which is a potash and used for fertilizer through out the world.
potash is a generic term so there are different varieties, this form is proving to increase crop yields around the world by significant amounts.
price is still discounted at 13 pence, it spiked to 29 pence when planning permission was granted unfortunately timing was during a bear period on the markets which kept momentum down otherwise it would have jumped further.
price remains discounted because funding for the build phase needs to be completed.
additional plus points:
directors doing this have already done it before with another commodity company which went 1000% within a year or two.
the directors have many millions invested in it.
the company has already pre-sold a lot of the product for years to come to companies around the world.
the government and the locals all want it to happen as it is a job creator in the teeside area which needs jobs

no guarantees but the down side it limited for the upside potential imo.

well i am still bullish about gold. it should be back to 1280 region but it has lot of barriers to face.

Got lucky in early 2009 with NYSE:MTL and some PALM.

Metchel did pretty good for me at that time and PALM was acquired by HP if memory serves me right. Boght MTL at 3 and sold it at 17 and...I was the king baby...I was gonna pull that magic trick up my bum a couple more times and then retire...silly kid

Its a great company based on its numbers,though they face several risks such as currency risks,liquidity and last but not least commodity prices..their debt to equity ratios are healthy, and lets not forget its a mining company,they usually take years to grow due to the underlying factors hindering their growth..but once all that is sorted it may just rise expoonentially.

My Commitments of Traders Report is out
Despite the negative sentiment on GBP and EUR, COT data shows a continuation of bullish bias among Non-Commercial traders.

It was the second consecutive week of EURUSD closing lower.
The price was falling steadily during the week and closed at 1.0935 on Friday. This was driven mainly by pretty good data coming out of US markets.
Core Durable Goods and Durable Goods m/m Order printed 1.8% and 4.9% respectively, way above expectations. US Prelim GDP q/q came out at 1% vs 0.4% expected.
Combined with poor data from Eurozone, the market sold off EURUSD.

Looking at the COT numbers, we see Non-Commercial traders covering both short and long positions. They decreased their shorts by 7.7K and closed out 6.4K short transactions. Overall, they hold 107K long and 154K short positions in Euro FX futures.
It was the first week since the beginning of 2016 that Non-Commercial traders decreased their long exposure significantly. We have been watching them adding long contracts since mid-January.

The trend of winding down shorts continues since December’s rate hike. This group lowered their shorts from 251K just before FOMC meeting in December 2016 to less than 155K today. This is a significant reduction.

I see non-commercials have less interest in shorting EUR futures but little interest in buying this market yet.

EURUSD might be in a very interesting position this week. The current 1.0930 area can prove to be an important support for bulls. If broken to the downside, we could see another leg down and perhaps a change in the sentiment from next week onwards. (see screenshot below)
