They have to be by law. Aussie brokers are amongst the safest worldwide when it comes to that.

I will answer though. I had no problem opening 4 lots. I do not know how it is to open 20 lots positions. Execution wise it depends on how quick the market is moving. But usually I get the entry within my 2 pips slippage. Will see how will work for 20 lots. When I will reach there I will tell you

90% of brokers will be able to execute 20lot EU no problem this is not that large really.. I know some brokers cap max lot at 20 lots though.

Are you talking about market executions or stop/limit orders executions? I thought slippage is only an issue with the former.

pretty sure Oanda is a market maker? nothing regulator can do when broker gaps spread to 100 pips and rips your SL.

90% of my orders are market orders. With the stop/limits orders I had one that was executed 20 pips lower in a 150 pips move during news. Because it ended in profit I forgot to ask my account manager about it. But now that you brought that up I will pay attention to these orders too. Usually my SL is executed within my +1 pip profit margin. Rarely I made a loss on my SL.
Trading with Dukascopy has other challenges than the order execution. Commissions mainly.

You don't jump from $8k tickmill account to $1m account that says it all

My best guess you are gaining interest and the $1m you hope will come from the investors you hope to get

and the IF puts the final nail in it.

You'll never see 100 pip spread on main currencies.

I did see 160 pip spread on my favorite, Euro versus Turkish Lira, but what is a 160 pip spread if you get back 3150 pips in just 1 week?

It has served me very well in the last 2 years and I've posted my profits many times on this forum.

Retail brokers decide pretty quickly if they're gonna pass on a succesful client's trades onto the interbank market and with big accounts I suppose they do it regularly, little losing accounts are usually bet against. Easy money for the broker.

I didnt want to get involved neither but do people actually know, prime banks such as JP,GS,Credit Suisse,UBS and such have actually wealth management departments where you can become a client with only as litle as 1Mil USD and have direct access to their liquidity and forex screen.
Why would someone go to a forex broker with that kind of equity. Just another attention whore,troll whatever!
