Disliked{quote} Hi D 1) Simply add 2 x ma1....with 0 advance, and colour to your taste 2) Then add 2 more ma1...this time advanced 2, and make them dotted and coloured to your taste. Add a semaphore indi or whatever you prefer to identify a likely ob/ or o/s kind of signal. Hey presto!...it will resemble mine then and you'll be up and running in 2 minutes! LLIgnored

DislikedHi all OK, a little more help in understanding how to find these hidden t/l points. I have some pending UC longs which I was a bit late on entering at the ideal entry this morning,, and I have chosen to set pendings at the price I'm interested in instead (they may not rigger of course and the bus may well leave without me on board, but not to worry) I am attaching 3 images a) The hidden t/l points to identify where the t/l is drawn from b) Then with both my red and green solid upper and lower lines to find where the entry point actually is for optimum...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Landline, i think i get it, you need the cross between the solid and dotted line of the same color to draw the trendline, right? The semaphor you shared doesn't work very well in my chart, it become freezy. Anyway if we need to be oversold or overbought, i can use a RSI 14 period which show oversold and overbought below 30 and above 70? Please continue with your strategy, it is getting interesting!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi S That's not exactly correct, study those charts carefully that I posted, especially the first one, which is where I i identify my t/l. Then, when the solid lines are overlaid on that chart (that you have identified the hidden dotted t/l points from), as per the second chart I posted, you can then simply see where the t/l breaks the solid line, and in the example I showed you, it was breaking the green line indicating that it was time to buy. So, to put it simply, there are two phases that occur, a) Identifying the dotted hidden t/l points...Ignored
Disliked{quote} OK, i think to understand, first at all you only watch the dotted MA to find the trendline, than you use the solid MA lines to look when the TL is broken, and you enter. Right? With this strategy you enter only in trendline breakout, or also when there is a bounce to the trendline? Always you draw the trendline from the green to the red dotted lines? Thanks again, SylIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi S Yes, now you have understood the concept correctly in line with my approach. Note, t/ls as we all know are extremely interpretable and for most people quite ambiguos which makes decision making that much more difficult and we have seen that when looking at the various charts posted from time to time when it is difficult to see justification for considering a trade, often because the method being applied is too complex or too ambiguos. My method of using t/ls is quite different to most I suspect, but the important thing is that it is...Ignored
