yes .leave casino for a while as i dont use VPS since some time and cant test so many stuff on one sistem is getting too much upload.but my last test with this last pin as you may see gave good results ,the only thing is that i let it run without any sl /tp wich was bad.but even so with a good exit strategy this is working.

Hi All

Does anyone think using Swing based on the results below from FourXXXX and JamesT that SL is the key to improved profits?

Is anyone testing the one or more of the original FourXXXX settings with any variations to control SL, starting Monday say 2 hrs prior to LO or say LO using additional S/L controls and running a week or longer with NO adjustments or stops e.g.

 

  1. Original FourXXX - SL 0.7 / TP 1.5 (just need to be aware that the actual PIPS can vary greatly) see post 14095 for actual pips.
  2. As above 1 with Swing X
  3. As above 1 Swing using Indi Fixed SL Fixed TP
  4. As above 1 Swing using X and Indi JSL
  5. As above 1 Swing using ATR 1.4 Casino_TSL_v1atr

or any other?

Thanks ..I am trying to to arrange settings to my suits...I do not use ATR based lot size. Mine is fixed to 0.01..As well the tp and sl on each pair are lower size arranged according to the trade lot size..Each day start from around Tokyo, and will stop it Late NY and reset....Last week Thursday and Friday was not bad..The magic I guess must be the TP and SL here, because entry points are most of time good..the exit should be the thing to be focused

My setup posted earlier now has a balance of $1549.66 it was under $1500 yesterday. Still running the original setup with no interference.

When you say Balance which Balance are you referring to:

As so many people are testing your setup and appear to be getting differing results, so we can all have the same baseline from which to test e.g. TSL ATRsl etc would you please post your:

Casino .set file
Swing .set file
Template TPL file
and the GMT time to start.

That way we are all on the same page.

thanks of the continue..So far I could follow it has win and loss days..with this setup the risk and reward is equal to each other so it means you need a minimum of 3 win days in a week, because of 1 basket ..But of course if there are 4 wins per week, this is a good thing..How about the past statistic of weekly?

Hi Richard,

Balance is the one that matters and that's account balance. I am not going to risk trying to get set files in case Casino crashes on me. All the information is already there and start time is not relevant. All settings are default apart from those I mentioned.
