{quote} stops successfully collected! thanks all, im out, today is the 3x rollover swap don't want to hold EURUSD long overnight as the swap is killer especially on 3x Thursday.
Ignored
what's the swap they're charging you?
or are you trading yards ?
The swap is like 2.6 $/ std. lot, that's about 0.26 pips equiv.

a risk of 0.26 shouldn't be a problem if it grants you extra pips

correct,

Forex Islamic accounts are also known as swap-free accounts as they imply noswap or rollover interest on overnight positions, which is against Islamic faith.

Non-Islamic traders don't have this option.
Don't jump for joy just yet, they usually recover it from slippage.

btw, does it also apply if you get a bank credit or mortgage?

Good luck in your learning experience, the small live accounts teach more than any demo ever will- both about the reality of trading the market with your system, and the reality of your mental state while trading real money....

{quote} Lot sizing as correct as it's going to get for that account, looks to be 1000% leverage, which with such a small account is inevitable. Keep it to .01 lots and make that account last as long as possible.....dont fall for the leverage trap, which for that account would be more than .01 lots traded Good luck in your learning experience, the small live accounts teach more than any demo ever will- both about the reality of trading the market, and the reality of your mental state while trading....

It usually can be checked in journal, but you can spot it live after some time.
slippage occurs in certain iliquid conditions, OR if broker is manipulating orders.

simply put: your order (manual open/close, SL, TP, limit) is filled at a worse or better price than set.
if broker is dodgy, price is always worse.

how to spot it?
you enter manualy but the order is filled lower or higher, be it a fraction of pip up to a few pips.
or your order is filled after a few seconds, at the worst price in the meantime.

In acc history tab you can see SL TP and actual price that filled the order.

mine was 2.5 now its up 3.6 and I trade multiple lots so +.36 a pip x3 for thurs rollover x however many standard lots, that's a lot of swap for one day. Just something to factor in.
