1. stop hunt above 50 .... check, done.
2. break of 61.8 fib... 2nd time in progress
3. no 3rd chances today for longs (hopefully for those holding shorts)

personally, out of postions in E/U and trading other more volatile instruments...

However, would not be surprised at all if E/U makes a run for the 23% retracement on the H4 which is 1.0868 between today (THURS and FRI this week).

Wasnt much of a spike but for a moment I tought it would. Bears man, they have the price action under control since Friday. Loud and clear. They dont even let pa to get around yesterdays close.

Nice find on that thread, we might have to start blowing the dust off that thing and get some of that Index analysis out to the readers. Pretty sure between you, Pipologist and myself we could resuscitate it. Might even drag some of the other Index traders into the fray as well.
When you hit 50, coffee becomes part of a proper modeling pipeline.

Personally, I'm interested in EUR index and DXY calculations that DO NOT include the EUR/USD pair, especially since in the case of DXY, the EUR/USD is heavily weighed (too heavily if one is trying to use it to scalp EUR/USD, since it just becomes a poor reflection of EUR/USD).

A modified DXY or EUR index without the EUR/USD might prove more insightful to compare pending moves in the EUR/USD, as it would gauge moves in the EUR or USD outside the EUR/USD pair.

The trick is to find a significant correlated balance of instruments to calculate the modified indices.
