10K+(X*10K)/100=20K solve the equation for X you will get what you want.

but you added 10k at the start, so X is just 100%, overall its 200%.. i'm asking if thats the same calculation for forex too..

I am not adding 10K, without 10K you can not solve 1 equation with 1 unknown.
It means that you have 10K and at the end you made it 20K so X is the percentage of gain.
You are adding X percentage of base money to base money. Which means you made 100% profit.

i understand that i made a mistake in calculating other businesses profit percentage(in my initial post)..
and sorry for taking up space with this kinda post, instead of trading inputs..

than 970 and 930 should be clear. you can see it also missed 1307.85 by 1 $ last time.. it may want that dollar. getting that dollar voids 970, but the lower 930.94 would still be in play
