'Volatility' is a word used alot in the news media today.. Its a risky scary sounding word used to intimidate and confuse the general public to stay out of the financial world. Far too complicated for normal people to understand.

Stock markets have had a great run, highest ever... Lots of profit for some.. All things come to an end.. Lets think of a reason for the drop in stocks.... ummm

a target and norm is not the same thing. if a target develops toward norm i may take it.. other than that i try to stay with the last target direction usually toward a large norm.. atm 1115/17xx was a norm i was long for from 05xx.. i closed my last 05xx long 1115 ish.. s/o some shorts after..made a little on yest shorts and went long at norm.. atm playing the long setups.. but i dont have a new short target yet..

If you mean our old friend, if you look very carefully at what he's doing, he's not trading breakouts of new highs or lows. He's trading breakouts of very micro consolidations ( on the 1m and 5 m timeframes) in the direction of a new swing on the lower timeframes, right after it started (i.e a break of the first micro consolidation right after price failed to go further at a nice solid S or R.) In some cases he also trades further breakouts of further consolidations in the same direction, if it's a trending day or depending on where he thinks the target for the swing is. Or he will wait for London to pick a direction, wait for it to consolidate and then trade the break of that. Those kinds of things are different than trading the breakout of a new high or low.

possible one here yet untriggered meaning its not locked and loaded. the st low at 1305 breach should yield 125x target. the same as norm area.. after breach, a pullback to 1329/atm high may be the entry box to short.. as long as high holds. st lies..its mostly built on consolidation.. but its in line with the 125area norm.. 1239/48. greed kills accounts. abort with a new HH

No, the more you have in equity the less you will take risk the less you will make.
For $1000 account this 5-7% seems nonsense but for 1000k+ account 5-7% is hard. Don't show me math since this is fully depends on trader's psychology.

i dont post those much because they fail.. this thing can go all the way up to 1514 and come back to 1249 and be correct.. that little tick one just points to 15x.. but i am not scalping, so i dont take much into those except for a better entry for a long. if we had some good resistance at high than that's a different story.

If you are consistently making 8% a month for 10 years it doesn't matter how much you have in your account ! 1% risk is 1% risk !!! if you risk 10k per trade its because the equity in your account allows you to!
