Sorry to hear about your loss as well
I think today set a record loss day for me for this month. When it tanked I lost what I made back this week . Should have stuck my original plan of shorting yesterday at 9000 and just sitting it out until today but I did not do so. Entered a buy position at around 8870 today followed by 8850 and 8835. From there it just went South. Had i shorted I would have made great money but I did the opposite of what market did. Will stay out today until another day for a better entry opportunity

What made you enter a long position. Was it your system or hunch? Just curious. I keep making similar mistakes.

Ouch. I'm really sorry. I was short yesterday, but got stopped out twice. Then I stayed out and later checked the markets to see that it finally started to drop. Today I didn't want to enter too early, but missed the drop again. At least I didn't lose. Good luck to you.

Was a hunch for a quick trade but it went wrong. Was a big mistake. Sometimes hunches work out good and other times they turn out to be horrible. There are good days and bad days. Today was bad so I stopped trading for today. Will find another opportunity

Good attitude. I think a lot of traders share your experience. Including me. However, I am trying to be more systematic with my approach. Unfortunately emotions are very powerful. Any tips on how to handle emotions will be welcomed.

EMA55 monthly is reached at both (DAX & US30).
Maybe one favored argument for going long.
If not bigger downside movements should be expected IMO.
It seems the risk worth for me.
Do not know what these millions of algorithm machines are coded for this market environment.

I gave myself 1 day off if i make a big loss..money can be made everyday so no worries if u lose 1 day to refewsh your perspective.
