Progress report on my basket of 4.
No you don't need to increase the lot size. Just have more pairs to go with your account size.
Gonna post a chart or 3 to show progress to date. Early days yet I know but I like this little sucker. Would have scared the crap outa me if on live account when it first took off. This sucker takes trades in the direction of the main trend & doesn't mind how many it takes against the trend of the moment. Lol.
1st 2 charts show DD at max then next shows TPs taken & less DD. Look to left bottom to get profit over starting $5000.

These 2 show what I found on waking this morning. "Poota" had been closed all night so no new trades taken overnight my time.

Gonna put this on a trade explorer so I can see each pair performance. Also will add a few more pairs to the basket.

Proud parent moment today...

As a lot of you are old friends, you know my youngest scorched himself seriously last year. 3rd degree burns, skin grafts and a lot of downtime.
He's a champ and pulled through that.

Today, he was accepted to the Canadian Armed Forces and will be heading out in a couple of weeks for Basic Training.

Now, I know joining the army seems like a relatively easy thing to do, but of the applicants for Canada, I believe that only 430 were chosen for the entire country.

My boy was one of them.

Since we are friends here, some new and some old...figured I would share the moment with ya.

So started testing this EA last night on demo, This were the first trades from this EA. Added more 19 pairs today morning.

That should make for some killer trades...and going into the weekend, past the hump, it might actually turn out pretty good.

Yep, still here in HI and loving it! We had a "cold snap" the past few days and it got down to 68F ... well below the 75F to 85F we enjoy every day! :-) I'm enjoying paddleboarding and lots of beach time and mai tais for happy hour, so life is good!

I think your ideas (adding to trends) and my ideas (identifying major trend, and trend alignment on multiple TF's based off of the two currencies which make up a currency pair) will align nicely. i screen out trends on multiple TF's for each currency, enter based upon trend criteria for the 2 currencies in each pair (on multiple TF's), then enter and have SL and trail SL. I just have one position ... but I think adding some logic (entering on pullbacks in the trend) can compound the gains.

I'll PM you in your forum, and set up a thread there to explain.

From Counter Rip, I have reversed the logic as a Filter to keep from buying tops and selling bottoms...

It definitely limits the trades on charts, but as a user defined, can still churn some decent profits without keeping the nuts on the chopping board.

I am still testing by way of...er hrmmm...backtests...but the primary seems positive.

That and with a completely overhauled core, there will be many good ideas rolling out in 2016!!!

I started with FTL when working on this one, but couldn't get the triggering right. I wanted to use it as my primary but it showed up terrible watching it trade in the strat tester.

Might have to collaborate with ya on a couple of ideas with this one, for an if and when you have some time.

I do like it now, but want to tighten it up on a couple of loose ideas.
