They are the wild card. I don't think they can stop the melt down, but they could certainly cause some BIG spikes and screw all the players with shorts. That's one reason I have been in and out again taking profits and not just lowering stop loss..putting money in my pocket and leaving less on table for the manipulators. Also if i leave it out there with stops it tests my discipline not to keep moving stops when the price approaches them... this last little move down bumped weakly 5 points from bottom. Has to touch b4 it can go up convincely

It seems as though everybody wants to bring their exchange rates down....BOJ,EUR,China,Australia, probably Canada soon and this from Yellen last night...................

" Over the course of the year, subdued foreign growth and the APPRECIATION OF THE DOLLAR RESTRAINED NET EXPORTS. In the fourth quarter of last year, growth in the gross domestic product is reported to have slowed more sharply, to an annual rate of just 3/4 percent; again, growth was held back by WEAK NET EXPORTS"

​In Pollie speak that's pretty plain English for "high exchange rates are damaging our economy, we want them down". U.S. rates have risen from 76.4 Yen since Oct. 2012. I think we're seeing a major readjustment take place. I'm sure we will have a rebound from the bottom of current movement, and I plan to be on the flight when it lifts off, but I think the game is changing. Volatility is going to reign supreme for quite some time..............................currency WAR

Too many wrong calls this year from Goldman. Wrong calls on stocks,Indexes,metals and currencies. They called 135 for YEN this year and now their stock is about to crash.

Too quick on the trigger that time. Just missed another 50 pips on both shorts! The last time it tapped a double bottom like that it quickly turned and I missed a good sell price. I guess I should have waited 3 minutes.
