copper has gone up with the drop of usdx. usdx still has more room to go lower 96.70. so copper has more room to rise. i attribute copper rise to usd drop, not necessarily demand. it has a 1.85 setup to me. that setup is w/o a HH above 2.111. its near some possible R atm. still w/o demand china will sink.. one reason i didnt go heavy on my eu short, and 1.2470.. lots of things can go wrong with the euro funding balance. eu should be dropping except the funding pressure floats it some. since 1086/1115 was hit it should allow more weakness than before it was hit.

Makes me wonder if it will suck the air out of NFP. Might take a complete shock to turn that into an even. We may be seeing some shifting in expectations where good news is brushed off and bad news get's the most attention. The USD bearish bandwagon may be leaving the station.

I missed all that pips of EU rise because i am out of the charts from today till saturday. I want to sell or buy something to leave it open until friday.

Any recomendations to trade today?

brown gap for some was green gap to others. now that many are turning bullish, i will be less likely to long. looking for a reason other than this 1089/1115 norm. 1.1110 may be a place to short on a bounce w/o a new high..1.1110/45 .. to target 1.100x.. it may be a start.

Need some advice here, I entered short position way too early average @ 1.10368. Is it advisable to use hedging (enter buy trade but not equal to the lots I shorted) so just to offset some margin to avoid margin call if it goes 1.12 or higher. Thanks in advance.

you might be right about the nfp.
i do not see a reason to push the panic button right now. today was one of those usd sell off days and has nothing to do with euro strength.
no groundbreaking change in fundamentals. the same bs with the global economy. eu went up, shit happens. any bear with proper risk management will do just fine. if this 240 pip move drained somebody's account, sorry,you should not be trading,not even a demo account.
most retail bears are already taken out and even more turned bullish, which is a good sign.
soon will find out the reasons of usd sell of and where all this money will go. all eyes on oil and major equity and commodities.

Okay maybe the accumulation was also based on selling the United States Dollar, either way the established long positions worked out well. Seeing as the majority of the market, (retail traders), are short; this could lead to a short-squeeze, pushing prices higher as investors cover their positions.

Before wasting your money you should first learn the basics of trading. If you are getting margin called if you donīt hedge your EURUSD short, you trade WAY to high risk/leverage, you do not want to risk more than 2% per trade usually, with a set stop loss from the very BEGINNING. Your question shows you donīt know the absolute basics, yet already trade real money. Thatīs asking for losing all your money my friend. Go to www.babypips.com and learn the basics of forex-trading first.

Thanks for the advise, I think after yesterdays fiasco I also need to go back to basics after all these years. Just need to brush up again. Its good once in a while to do so.
