Oh man sorry to hear that. But I'm afraid this was just a matter of time. I remember already a week or two ago when you were deeply in red with dozen of positions opened and "only needed 30 pips up", which you got eventually. That time you were lucky, but not this time. I was following you and noticed last week that you cashed out some, that was a good idea.
Enjoy the break and once you back do not look for one mistake you've done now at the end. I think you need redesign your trading style from scratch. Maybe you can start with money management turned on.

mkvy,gator - ignore list. No offense, but I'm here to read about trading. Gratz to 54,840 posts, just the quality/quantity balance could be improved I believe.

i use all time frames. but the fine tuned entries are 5min yes

1hour/4hour for directional

That party gets dirtier every year but still can be a blast if you know how to do it. Not easy anymore with $500 rooms with 5 night minimum. Sounds like you got a good next profile pic can't wait to see it.

i lived in miami for almost a year in 87. just after crack hit the shores. i lived next by the m herald in the omni condos. every other weekend we would head to keys. mid point islandmarada, the same as in trading.. ismarado is the mofu. i was snorkeling in a mariner there. the mariner had a large piece of coral rock underwater in the middle. about the size of a bus with steep sides. i was snorkeling looking in the little crevices, at all the creatures. i wasn't paying attention to my heading. i came face to face with a grouper several times my size. i was about 1/2 feet from him swimming toward his mouth and he didnt seem to care. reflex made me back paddle. i dont know if i was food to him or not. i got out the water and ran up the tab on rum runners.

That was work ups to my deployment in 2007, so it'd have to be october of 2006. Wow- time flys. Lets see if I can find the picture later. Thinking back I remember finishing a fifth of Jack Daniels with both of my supervisors before we went out....guys with about 10 years on me when it came to drinking....One from Texas and one from Tennessee. Those where the days

I'd imagine now I'd enjoy it a lot more.....girlfriend's grand parents live in the keys, would probably stay there- and actually remember the next time around

Goliath Grouper. Pc'ers changed the name from Jewfish a couple years ago. Probably just wanted you to get all the hooks out of his lips. Those big ones usually got more lip jewelry than a goth chic.

Went further than I thought it might. It has stalled just a few pips shy of R3, but I'd imagine it will trigger it at least for a moment. This should kill the price action and any further (significant) gain for the balance of the day.

getting close to one both bears and bulls wanted. looks like eu 1086 is on this schedule. but the usdx has more to give. if the uj bounces the usdx drop may look better on my gu long verse eu

Funny how everyone was shorting EU to target parity when it went down to 1.0800 then after an upside movement day, everyone suddenly long and also have higher targets. schizophrenia!
