I think price will go u before US session opens..it just make sense since yesterday the US session provide a nice entry for the Europeans to enter short today..

Big round number. Key levels to watch. As Islander has pointed out many times look at how price moves between say 9700 and 9600 and every 50 in between and then the 25 levels. Look back at historical data and just observe how price often revolves around these levels.

Did you ask about EAs for stops and TPs earlier? There are loads just do a search and try them out. I have just switched mine off as it seems my broker blocks your account if orders entered too quickly from MT4. Cost me a fair number of trades to work that one out. Some brokers okay with it but be careful if trading frequently. Mine are now manual.

DAX short just under 9600. No broadband. Mobile ...... TP 9550. SL -5
Edit: SL now plus 2. This is only 1/50th my normal size as I am down to a very shaky connection. More a test of validity of a mobile connection for MT4. Works ok. Better than BT anyway. Oh no phone fell off window. Lost connection....

Closed manually as approached 9550. Could have waited but fear of loss of connection (a new fear I must now deal with). 30 something but cannot tell as lost MT4 again.

on S&P we are in a traditional measured move short from 2075 to lows off the year, reacted yesterday at 50% at 1940 (these are future prices NOT cash), target is 1742, by then gold may indeed be at 1160 or beyond

Dow is more likely to rally given its relative strength against DAX but anything can happen. Wait until it's patently obvious what's going on.

I went long around 9570 which was a mistake and I got caught down with it. Closed with a $2K loss. Bought back at around 9638 and got out at 9650 making back most of my losses. Ahead for the day now but off my highs for the day. I think we are back in bear market now again.

What was your rationale for long? He who picks bottoms gets dirty fingers and all that. Do not worry about the result of your last trade it completely distorts your thinking if you do. You need a clear head. If I make a really stupid mistake (aka breaking my rules) I stop trading and meditate for 10 minutes (I know it sounds cranky). Go for a walk, make a cuppa anything just to have a clean sheet mentally to trade from.


Pics from earlier trade. Note that although I have S15 chart open the action is all there in the M1 bars to see. It helps me understand the candles meaning when I can see what is happening beneath them but those with the knowledge have no need.

Yeah, I fucked up and broke my own rule. Should have stuck to my original theory and just hold a short position from 9840 where I had figured we had topped and would be revisiting 9400 again or below. Oil pretty much told at 34 the other day and now looks like it is going back to revisit that old $26 mark it hit the other day. When oils rallied from $26 so did US stocks and Asian stocks but as oil topped off so did US and all other stock indexes. Another clue should have been from Japan where the government recently did not announce it would use more QE funds to prop market but instead penalize people for leaving money in their accounts lol.. It wanted the people to withdraw money out of their savings accounts to spend and invest which the Japnese were not doing so it started penalizing those that leave funds in their accounts. This is why most Japanese hide money at home lol.. Not only were they not get any interest for money in the bank but the government recently started penalizing those that leave money in the bank. Sigh markets were about to drop from Japanese Government. America was also silent about YEN dropping in Value which was basically a green light

Before we had two weeks of ups and two weeks of downs. Last week was the last week of the down week and we just started the first week of down week. Opened down and headed down this week.

Unbelievably BT broadband is down everywhere due to "satellite issues". 4 to 6 hours to fix. So I pay a small fortune every month and they provide a service with a single point of failure still??? I feel a rant coming on.

Which would take the Dow backabove the H4 200ema from which it has been falling with the momentum still down. You may be right, but I don't see 4-500 pips from here totally against momentum. We may see a retrace back up a bit from here having hit S2, but straight back up 4-500 pips seems unlikely.
