The beefy phat lady is still singing loud, I'll consider going short @ 1.0880 once it gets there (which the pair seems to have the power for, at the moment).

I capitulate. What a badly timed scalp it was.

After trying to scalp this down and losing XX pips (much more than I should be), I knew I was in trouble when my primary EURUSD ea went long while I was holding a short and the ea was up +25.0p that's when I said "ahh crap". High percentage trades are when I am in sync with my it. When there's a divergence between me and the algo, I usually lose.

The big visual that I missed was the massive gap up on DXH6. It looks like a bad data point. It's so huge, didn't zoom out to see it until it was too late and the gap is/was trying to be filled. Critical amateur analytical f*ck up. 870 is a critical swing point here. Next ones are over 900. DXH6 still has 10p to go to consider having filled the gap.

On the other hand yen is weakening while dollar is getting hit too. Amazing. It will erode much quicker when dollar strengthens again after this short trading cycle. Looks like they're drawing the line at 121 even.

Long USDJPY would have been a safer scalp.

If the algo is so good, why not just let it run and don't even trade manually?

You are so right...I have a problem called itchy fingers (ego).

For the time being, it's pretty stupid to try to trade against this...I burned myself bad scalping against it.

I went live with this 6 trading days ago. The live trades trigger exactly as tested so far, and it's long EURUSD from this morning.
