I read first 100 and scrolled through rest of the pages. Looking to charts, specially eyevoltage charts I saw many times the same setup working again and again. Time to start learning. I will start in demo account with simulated trading. I trade futures contract 6B ( GBP/USD ). I trade only first 2 hours from London open. Hello Eyevoltage News and day trading GU. How do you trade around news ? Do they have impact when do you open and close trades ? Is it enough if I look only High Impact Expected news about GBP and USD ? 6B was in range 1.425 and PP. After break out of the range is saw 2 setups with target 1.43 but didn't take them because high impact expected news was close. {image}

6B Nice setup again. Bounce of 1.43 with target 1.435 But again didn't take it because high impact expected news was close. Today both high impact expected news supported the trade. I start keeping track of news items, what has impact and what don't have impact. Compared to news like FED minutes and reaction to them today news had almost no impact. {image}
