close on its own was less bullish. month lower wick over 100, upper 200ish.. near a doji looking.. but red jan after that green dec one near support. more like a high seas wtf candle to me. personally i still hold out for what made the green dec candle at 1086 or more. of course i need it to get above 0859/69 and 0901 nov close for this to happen. then 0874 and so forth.

AJ maybe a small pullback but look at the monthly wick.

GU is my focus. Expecting a test of the 2015 lows.

at the risk of being skeptical. copper is not reflecting much to boj yet. it's still open but with markets rising. i dont see a reason copper has not got above wednesday. in simple terms, no increasing copper demand (little reflected in price) means china not reflecting the yen weakness of equity rise. china was open when boj cut. copper reaction slightly positive, but not orgasmic enthusiasm.

whats a worse feeling than being up 100-200 pips and then watching it go to breakeven?

when it goes 500 pips and you close at 150.

gotta hold long.. it should be ready now (no more pullbacks to sub 4200... please)

get a dozen or so on a few pairs and set target and b.e. stop and let it go. move stops some up or a combination of tp a little and let some run. dont get too greedy by adding. unless you b.e. the adds as it moves.

Oil is on the back foot, it could fundamentally help EURUSD buyers to take control at the bottom of the channel.

Is it better to use a SL or make a mental of what I am risking in a trade? I noticed that sometimes when I use a SL, price just moves to my SL and then goes in the other direction but often times when I just make a mental note of my risk I end up not closing the trade when price reaches that point.

EURUSD
During the previous week, the EUR traded 0.34% higher against the USD and ended at 1.0833. In economic news, Eurozone’s consumer price inflation advanced 0.4% in line with market expectations on an annual basis in January. However, the region’s economic sentiment indicator dropped to a five-month low level during the same month, as the slowdown in China weighed on sentiment across the region. Meanwhile, Germany’s GfK consumer confidence index remained steady in February. On the other hand, retail sales surprisingly declined on a monthly basis in December and the nation’s IFO business climate index declined more than expected to a 11-month low in January. Further, the sub-index measuring current business conditions slipped slightly, while the outlook sub-index slumped more than anticipated during the same period. The EUR hit a high of 1.0969 and a low of 1.0790 against the USD in the previous week. The pair is expected to find support at 1.0759, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 1.0685. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 1.0938, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 1.1043. This week, investors would focus on the manufacturing and services PMI along with the unemployment rate data across the Euro-zone to gauge the strength in the European economy. Additionally, Germany’s construction PMI as well as factory orders data would also be keenly watched by investors.
