You are correct to say that this is price momentum trading exactly how Big E catch the candle #1 and #2 when there is change in short term price momentum over the longer term. Green crosses Red. He was an aggressive trader the way he take the trades using candle #1 and #2. He traded with 3 to 5 standard lots in one single entry.

I did not revamp the 5-Method. I use the same 5-Method but I am a conservative trader I would not want top trade with 5 stardard lots in one single entry. That is too much stress for me. I prefer a different money management strategy using smaller lots trades in multiple entries and multiple exits. I like my own Plan, Build and Run.... approach. That has worked for me for many years.

give yourself a chance to trade the way Big E traded. read all his posts and training charts. Develop your own way to trade with TMS.

Jason Stapleton is basically a harmonic pattern trader and he insists his Syndicate program made about 50% gain for the last year. I tried one dollar trial a month ago for curiosity and was surprised how bad his (and his colleague's) performance was. I don't know why his name's so much mentioned in the web. As far as I know hormonic patterns have no accuracy and RR is not as good as we may expect. In my opinion, he is a fashion model rather than a trader...

but he did turn $250,000 into $940,000 in 90 days, so it says in that challenge.
it really did happen once.

how many times can someone repeat that kind of feat?

Just completed analyzing my trade performance for the past 3 weeks ( Jan 11 to 29). It has not been that smooth as I would prefer. Have had a few problems and coupled with problems with my laptop PC, then went out to buy a new one but it ran Window 10 and had a QHD 4K display. Spend many days having to downgrade to Win7, then found many of my programs did not work well with the 4K display. Finally, did the best thing buy a business PC with Win7 Pro and the FHD display 1920 x
1080 resolution. Now I have a smile back on my face....

Starting in 2016, I wont be trading the H1 intraday and will focus mainly 4H Swing and Day chart position trading with ME/ME.

Week 02 to 04 ( Jan 11 to 29)
Winning trades : 115
Losing trades : 17
Total Win pips : 15,400 pips
Average Win Pips : 133 pips
Average Win Amount: $200.00
Average Lot Size : 0.19 std.
Average duration of trade : 5Days 3Hours

Great post Dimi! A lot of newbies are confused to the point where I myself got a couple of emails about TMS. I decided that emmanuel is the guardian of TMS now and did not respond, presuming they would find what they needed here. I am glad to hear a return to purity!

Yes, perhaps that's why people start education business after that. Jarratt Davis is one of them. (He was insisting we sell NZD last year just before it moves up over 500 pips!) I believe people want to teach trading because they cannot make consistent profit...

I can't seem to get my head to understand the logic behind trading a higher time frame (TF) 4 hrs, Daily charts etc other than it's less noise. For example, a single bar in 4 hrs chart are formed from 4 bars in 1 hr chart.

So, would it not be too late to enter on a 4 hrs TF by the time the 4 bars are completed in 1 hr chart?

One may also argue that it may be too soon to enter on 1 hr chart since it's too much noise on this TF and hence the TDI may uncross, hook or go flat etc and go opposite direction. TDI may do likewise even if you trade on higher TF right?

If price retraces when you enter at 4 hr, the losses will be more since the SL is further away. Worst if it goes against your direction.

So, my reasoning is that if I enter earlier on 1 hr chart instead of 4 hrs, I can make small profits over time? I reckon higher TF is good if one is confident that their entry is correct from all aspects of the PA, S/R, Multiple entries, exits, etc etc

Hi Dimi,

If one had short on the previous swing on the 27th, they would have been stopped out on their SL on 28th. It's a good TDI cross, no major S/R nor small wicks either. Any reason why you didn't choose to setup entry on this one?

Personally I want to thank Dimi for getting my head straight and just focusing on the original TMS by Big E, I for one ( a 6 month newbie trader ) have been getting confused with all the additional add ons from this post. I shall continue to keep to the tms rules and not deviate off. Happily ending up over 300 points on single lots this week

He's a very successful trader whose entire premise is psychological in these articles. Definitely doesn't hurt TMS traders to read on about the mental aspect of trading.
