They wouldn't make any money. It just wouldn't work. The way my method is. I trade against retail sentiment. To get me to lose, they would have to get retailers to win. To get retailers to win would make the markets pointless for them.

A lot of times there is so much expectation built in before numbers even hit that when they do it becomes a non event. The markets have largely already factored in good job growth, solid GDP and four interest rate increases, so when they occur the market will just sit back. The danger, or opportunity is, if the US economy stumbles or any of the rate hikes fail to happen we will suddenly have broken away from fundamentals and the dollar will be overshot. Portfolios will scramble to reevaluate and re-balance and you may see a sharp move lower and a new trend emerge as expectations and front running are largely bearish. All of this of course has to be balanced against the other economy as well as there are always two sides to this coin.
When you hit 50, coffee becomes part of a proper modeling pipeline.

My friend,
The parity people are still around . I don't think anyone thought it was going to happen quickly . It could take a year or more . A retracement to 1.23 still leaves parity as a option . Time will tell .
