Thoughts on "smart traders"
Keyword protocol FOMC.
According to the results of the FOMC meeting the Fed kept interest rates at 0.5%, as expected. In general comments were not as "soft" as markets had expected, the Fed left the possibility of raising interest rates at its meeting in March 2016 that plays into our hands.
However, in an accompanying protocol still denser touched upon the global risks and volatility.
The labor market continues to celebrate the positive notes: "the growth of the labor market, despite the economic slowdown in the pace at the end of 2015".
Will closely monitor the state of the global economy.
Repeated rhetoric that raising the interest rate must be carried out gradually.
It remains the standard concerns about the involvement of human resources.
Inflation remains low in the short term, the matter is that energy prices.
Keyword protocol gradual, describes "a gradual process of rate hikes." Obviously, all the speculation will revolve around its possible changes.
The tone of the minutes of talks about the concerns of a global variable: China and the oil is doing its job. In general, the markets have been set up on the softer protocols, but the content is only indirectly may indicate that we will see is not 4, and 3 interest rate increase in 2016. The dollar remains sensitive to the statistics, on Friday the data will be published quarterly GDP growth, and next week has followed the publication of the first statistical Non-Farm of the year (January).

As part of its annual organizational meeting actions, the Federal Open Market Committee reaffirmed its "Statement on Longer-Run Goals and Monetary Policy Strategy," with a revision to clarify that it views its inflation objective as symmetric, and with an updated reference to participants' estimates of the longer-run normal unemployment rate in the most recent Summary of Economic Projections (December 2015).
In October 2014, in preparation for the annual reaffirmation, the Committee discussed the potential benefits of amending the statement to clarify that its inflation objective is symmetric. As indicated in the minutes of that meeting, there was general agreement on the symmetry of the objective. Following further Committee discussion regarding the most appropriate way to express this clarification, the statement has been amended to indicate that the "Committee would be concerned if inflation were running persistently above or below" its 2 percent objective. All but one participant supported the amended statement.
The Committee first adopted the statement at its January 2012 meeting and has reaffirmed it, with appropriate revisions, at its annual organizational meetings each January.
Voting for the statement were: Janet L. Yellen, Chair; William C. Dudley, Vice Chairman; Lael Brainard; Stanley Fischer; Esther L. George; Loretta J. Mester; Jerome H. Powell; Eric Rosengren; and Daniel K. Tarullo. Voting against was James Bullard, who agreed the Committee's inflation goal is symmetric, but believed the amended language is not sufficiently focused on expected future deviations of inflation from the goal.
RBNZ systematically changing their position.
As expected, on Wednesday, the RBNZ left interest rates unchanged, but the tone of the protocols made NZD lose a big figure against the USD. Doors to reduce interest rates in 2016 are open.
In an accompanying protocol RBNZ noted quite transparent, "it will probably take a further easing of monetary policy", so the central bank leaves the zone of neutrality and remains under pressure.
"It will take more time to stabilize inflation than previously thought."
Recall that according to the last quarter of 2015, the consumer price index decreased by 0.5%, while the annualized rate of 0.1% at the central bank target of 2-3% per cent. Managing Wheeler reiterated concern for Bank.
