Whilst there is no doubt that the steepness of TDI angle is of prime importance when considering a trade, one thing that I've not seen mentioned here (admittedly I've only been tuned-in for 2 months) is the TDI window size as a ratio to that of the main PA window. My observation is that the larger the TDI window is, the more extreme any angle of TDI is presented. It may seem obvious to those that use the TDI for many hours, but I think still worth highlighting 
The same chart with a different TDI/PA window ratio gives a different 'angle'. Big E's training charts have approx a 2/5ths (40%) ratio. I've taken a mental note to make sure my charts are set up similarly on the three machines I use

You're right MZ, the size of the TDI window relative to the main price window does have a direct effect on the angle of the TDI. I think I remember Big E mentioning this somewhere but I'm not sure of the post off the top of my head.
What you have to remember is this is not an exact science and essentially what you're really looking for is the steepest TDI angles. These might be steepest angles on your TDI, regardless of how that looks against a clock-face. Remember, Big E spent thousands of hours perfecting this method and applying the 12-2,4-6 rule on his specific monitor setup.
Regardless, its still a good observation and worth noting in here for those that are relatively new to this method

You are right. Hope Big E was able to confirm this.
