Keep in mind that China crashed hard today and broke all resistance and support lines. I see another 3-4% before government intervenes again.
Short that Chinese Yuan!!

the dice has been set, divergence on both SPX500, US30 and oil at resistence. SPX500 touched weekly mid fib zone which is resistence.

The market price has also could more moving down, say till ~9'547 (50% Fib/H4 2016,01.20 16 - 2016.01.22.16) or 9'480 (Fib 61.8%/H4).
If so I would have buy more long orders repetitively around these levels.
The market seems volatile & with 70% algorithm trading it's not in your favor for working out the right point . Ce jour-l est venu.

Why? Dow not broken trend, Dax still edging up and I do not see sellers yet.

On a different note - if you get dirty fingers from picking bottoms what do you get from picking tops?

Chickened out after Dow failed to break down for 26 points. Picking tops and bottoms is not my thing so a bit experimental.

Have to wait and see I think. I am watching for divergence across multiple timeframes and a good wave pattern or bars at a significant support and resistance level before committing anything but a very small speculative punt. Wiser heads than mine probably have their shorts lined up with limit orders but I do not have the nerve for that sort of trading. Dow is still edging up, until that matches Dax wait.
