i got more data now. cancel the other stuff. ga looks eventually to go to 2.5345 norm, before 1.0202. if correct it's a retirement fund. it's directly opposite of what of recent political calls about the gbp.
the gbp/kiwi is cleaner looking. the place to long gn may have been missed earlier this month. 2.1507 is/was/possible major support. it may be enough to squeeze to 2.7319. R maybe at 2511ish. i dont have a target with this either way. one was completed for bears and then bulls last. i dont see a rudder on the week/month. but it may have a natural attraction to 2.7319 as a general rule. further weakening of china would help, by weakening aud and kiwi.

gbp/usd should have that bounce attraction toward 1.58xx at some point. it has bounced almost 300 since last weeks low. i dont know if its bottoming. but as most know i dont trade a b/o. the reason is they tend to retrace soon after to places like 1.587x. i have no triggered target yet. just that a b/o most of the time retreats. atm gu may be setting 1.5877 up.. it may test 1.422x ish again or more. i had a long on it that was up 260.. on that retrace i closed at 202.. i didnt want to hold a counter w/o a valid setup. when 1.4220 seems likely. after that i would look for signs.

i gave mine at 110 for a drop. it's hard to squeeze that last drop out of a trade, especially when that last drop is 50% more from 28$. at 110 a 50% drop was 55 per barrel. i took the licks of of living in fantasyland of stones thrown. i took the licks of posting a 40 handle and even a 30 handle. 14.11 brent is technically viable. back to 56 is within its norm, before 14.11.. norm and uj are at odds.. so considering uj is a great indicator of the economy. 14 may be closer than it looks.

They did sell some at $80 and $100. But there weren't enough buyers to fill ALL their orders at those levels.

I'm talking about the biggest of traders. Sovereign wealth funds. Those who bought between $10 and $25 are selling remainder of their positions now at sub $40 and sub $30 (because sidelined traders are willing to fill their orders, speculating on a $50+ oil price in a few years)

If it goes sub 20 I'm all in long, and probably with a few futures contracts ($3000 per $1 move in oil)

I'm not one of those doom and gloomers who expects oil to be unable to find a bid and be worthless.
It's the #1 most used commodity on earth. Unless some new technology makes it useless, in which case I'll be out $50,000 (if it goes to 0)

As far as I know, no commodity market has ever gone to 0.

You could be right about $14 but it's just a bit ridiculous to me, yes i know it's a viable technical level, but inflation adjusted that would mean it's the cheapest oil price the world has ever seen. the last of the oil longs from 1999 would have to capitulate (i imagine they would like to keep some of their positions for the next bull run)

Only reason I have any money in a Roth IRA is tax free returns, otherwise it's useless, the flexibility with trades is terrible and you can't use any margin. It's for no brainer long term trades only.

Even if it took oil 10 years to rally, thats 6.66% decay (because the ETF tracks the futures and you still have to pay the rollovers),

6.66% will pale in comparison to where the oil price will be in 10 years, should you buy now, it would only need to rally from 32.20 to 34.50 to cover the cost of the ETF decay

Yes buying depressed oil companies is a decent idea because you will get the dividend yield as well. I just don't think the upside will be as great in oil producers as it will be in the price of oil itself.

talking about a huge rebound on EURUSD next week on FOMC and the GDP from many banks in EURo and US ,lets see if 1.1050 will be broken .

I think there's more truth for the EUR to be found on EURGBP at current, but that's from a much scanned out look.

Pound has lost some serious strength over the last while and it looks like we have reached a fairly strong supply zone.

What was support, now appears to be resistance.

Seeing the apparent weakness on EURGBP, I am not as optimistic as a retrace to more supply on 1.1086 as would be a look to test a a demand zone before possible parity.

lets see where the price will be on sunday. will try to long near .42451 sl few pips below. aiming for .44890 min
